Holiday Inn Express Amiens  

It is right next door to the railway station. If you arrive in the pouring rain you won't get wet. On the other side is Brasseie Jules, a restaurant which will not disappoint. I asked for a quiet room away from the lift and I was given one. I would not envy a guest opposite the lift.

If only management could appreciate the relevance of lighting in creating the mood of an establishment. The corridors and I assume all the rooms are clinical flourescent lighting. I felt like I was in a hospital.

Booked this hotel because internet was free of charge. Shame I was unable to connect to the net, a part from 2 hrs one night!

The Holiday Inn was close to the Amiens rail station, so getting from Paris Nord was easy by train. The staff were prompt, polite, and helpful, the breakfast was good, the room clean and tidy. I'd happily recommend the Holiday Inn to anyone considering a trip to Amiens

nice staff at front desk were freindly and spoke english. i liked that my 8 pound dog was allowed and i liked the breakfast buffet the fresh fruit was good

there was no air conditioning and the fan that was provided did not have a cord long enough to place in front of the window so we could not blow in cold air.also the hall ways were not air conditioned and there was no ventaltion. if the doors and windows at both ends of the hallway were left open at night with a fan it would realy help.

Room a bit small

Very central location. Rooms were functional and clean. Special mention to the extremely efficient breakfast waitress who coped with clearing and resetting tables, refreshing the breakfast buffet, repairing the coffee machine all this done single-handed and with a cheerful smile. (And there was a busy coach party in for breakfast)Well done!!

Ideal location, next to trainstation en very close to the main shopping street. Parking facilities under the hotel. Public car park for only 5 euro for 24h. Friendly staff.

The underground parking of the shopping-center available without leaving the building.

Price is a little bit high, when I compare with other Hotels. Rooms are small, and their equipment is limit. We stayed at the last floor(5.), and pressure of water in the wc was poor.Breakfast could be better. Not enough choice of bread( no sandwiches...).
