Convenient to highways and to centre town. Secure parking lot with key access gate at night and well lit. Rooms were quiet Beds are horrible, too small and too hard. TV language for English stations was German. There were primarily English speaking there. Front desk could not explain this. |

Very difficult to locate at night. Even though we had directions they need to include the direction from the centre of Avignon & a nearby landmark for reference. Meals were served with no vegetables or salad (out). We were then charged full price for the meal. |

Overall service was good. Use of computer and internet was free in lobby area (small room). Buffet breakfast was good quality. (Japanese tour group were staying and hotel handwrote labels on the Breakfast Coffee making machine in Japanese so they didn't get their cappacinos mixed up with Expressos!) Hotel took payment for the rooms in advance by 10 days just after booking made on internet. The rooms above the front of the hotel had more traffic noise. Hotel looks out onto a major roundabout (10-15 meters away) and business traffic starts very early in morning. Rooms facing the rear are substantially quieter. |

This hotel is very suitable for travellers with cars as they have a large carpark. Its easy to get into the town centre as there is a bus nearby. Being a bit out of town means that it was quiet at night. It is not close to any shops or a supermarket. |

A great working-man's luxury hotel with all the amenities and a big breakfast spread -- if you got an advance pay promo rate. If you paid full price, about as good as you'd expect. |

Holiday Inn Express is situated just outside the City of Avignon. It takes 6 minutes on the shuttle to get into the City. It is in a quiet location which is good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it. Excellent value for money plus a good breakfast included. |

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a guarded, big parking lot and a very good location, all the main roads are easily accessible and the city center is not far too. |

Good standard of service for affordable price. Stayed in Express in Frankfurt and everything here is just the same. A good example of standardisation working for the benefit of customer. At breakfast there was a shortage of glasses, tables, spoons, yogurt, almost everything you had to wait for. Either lack of skills of staff or shortage in number. |

The hotel was very good- and the staff were very helpful, especially in helping us to find parking space and free shuttle bus to the city centre. The lack of a fridge and the location of the hotel in the middle of a business park. |

The hotel is very far from the city center. After 10:30pm that the local bus stops, you have to take a taxi from the city center to the hotel. This increases the cost by 15 euros each night. The hotel is more business oriented, than vacations oriented. Its strict decor is in contrast to the french-provance romantic style, that you can find in other hotels. The price is quite fair, if you need just a clean hotel and you have a car to go to the city center. The local bus is accurate and rather cheap (1.2euro), but it stops after 10:30pm at night as I already mentioned. A plus is that the staff is very friendly. |

The hotel, whilst located outside Avignon, is very convenient for public transport and the tgv. Breakfast was adequate and reasonably varied. In view of its distance from the city centre, the hotel lacks adequate eating facilities apart from breakfast. |
