Madame was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, well-furnished, neat and spotlessly clean. Hotel is situated in a quiet street, very convenient for the railway and also near to the motorway on the northern side of town. The continental breakfast was most enjoyable, with top-ups offered. Ideal stop-over for heading north or south. Must try to stay longer next time. |

The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was spotless and the location was very good nobody spoke even one word of english, and the cost of the breakfast for what was available (orange juice, bread, jam, coffee and yogurt) was very high |

Madame was always available to deal with questions, very helpful with taxis and tourist maps/sights, provided a good continental breakfast with excellent coffee, but - beware - she spoke little or no English. No tea/coffee making facilities in rooms (understandable because of the family nature of the hotel and the extra work this would involve); slightly limited range of (all French) TV stations; a bit out of the centre, but good for the station and cathedral areas. |

We received a very warm welcome from the owner who was extremely pleasant and helpful in showing us which sights to visit in the city. Continental breakfast was of very good standard.Bedroom average but good bathroom/shower facilities. Would thoroughly recommend the hotel to friends and family. |

The hotel was clean and tidy in a good location The internet connection was poor and at the time there was no telephone line to the hotels rooms. Not sure if this was just one of those things at the time but it did not help from a business point of view |

quiet location, but near to everything. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The owner was very helpful but did not appear to speak much English - but that wasn't a problem for us. She recommended restaurants and places to visit. Enjoyable stay and I would use this hotel again. |

The warm welcome and helpfulness from the manageress. We also liked the practical nature of the facilities for our overnight stay. The showers were so simple to use, and so efficient. The location of this hotel was ideal for those who wanted to explore Limoges city. |

The hotel Familia made an excellent base for exploring Limoges, and the surrounding counrtyside. Parking was onstreet but you always found a space and it was free. The area has a fair amount of 'local' eating places without the city price tag. The family running the hotel were helpful and always available for help and advice. Excellent out-of-the-heart-of-the-city base. |

The staff were really friendly, despite not being able to speak any English. My schoolboy French is disasterously bad, but we persevered, had a laugh and everything went fine. Room was lovely - a nice compact size with a lovely comfortable bed. Shutters blocked out light and ensured a good sleep. The area was very quiet, despite being about 10 mins walk from the centre of town and 4 mins from the railway station. Free WiFi. Breakfast was basic but typically French in nature - croissant, baguette, jam, yoghurt, tea, coffee and chocolate. The lady owner was very keen to ensure that I had had enough when I got up to leave the dining room which was lovely. They looked after my bags for two days - the days before my stay and after. |

The room was delightful, spotlessly clean sheets and bathroom, very comfortable bed, very kind and helpful management. A couple of minutes from the railway station, and about 10 minutes to centre of town. Absolutely loved it. I did not like the location, did not seem to be in a good area, probably not so much of a problem if you have a car. |

The hotel itself was good. The manager was extremely kind and helpful. I did not like the location at all, it is not in a very good area and I wouldn't book it again or recommend it to families, which is a real shame as the hotel is pleasant and the manager was great. |
