Hôtel Familia - Nos Rêves    

We stay here every time we visit Limoges, and find it very comfortable and friendly.

Lady on receiption was very helpful and polite. Parking was easy.

Room was very small. Breakfast was very basic.

What a great little hotel. The owner while not speaking English well, really looked after us.Very quiet hotel with free parking on site. Coffee and tea facilities available downstairs. The wifi works, sadly no lift.

The staff is great! Very nice and helpful. The owner spent 20 minutes talking with us and showing us on the map everything we could do. They did everything they could to make us feel welcome. We stayed in a family room and the room was spacious, clean, very good mattresses, temperature was good (not too hot or stuffy), good location, Deserves much more than 2 stars hotel. We had a wonderful stay.

The hotel is very good and near to the old center. I recommend it for everybody.The only problem is that it dont have elevator.

We liked, that a room was clean, the bedding is good quality, shower is hot at any time. Staff is friendly.

We did not like the pillows, it is so thin and poor.

The hotel had gone through renovations since our last stay and now has Guest Lounge and a new Reception. The rooms are still the same and it's still very peaceful.

The WiFi no longer worked unless we were in the Guest Lounge a shame as I only went back for the internet access in my room!

The Manager and his staff went out of their way to give us all the assistance and useful local information which we needed. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean and well-kept. This is an excellent family-friendly hotel - a French family staying there at the same time as us chose La Familia for their family get-together.

Even were one to try to fault the hotel (which we didn't!), it would be impossible to find anything to criticise.

Good position for visiting Limoges attractions. Friendly & helpful staff who recommended 2 excellent restaurants not far from hotel, La Vache au Plafond & Le Bistrot Jourdan. Good breakfast selection.

Only thing was not being able to book in until 5pm.

Very poor welcome.Small poky room. Don't book a triple room in France expecting three beds, I was traveling with two mates and got offered a room with a single bed and a small double, asked about another room but was refused even though hotel was clearly fairly empty and was willing to pay. Ended up with one of us staying in the etap hotel a short walk away which was basic but fine. Would not recommend Hotel Familia and will not be returning.

Room furnished in French country style. Proximity to railway station and city.

Check-in time from 5pm not convenient. Without a mobile phone, difficult to initially gain access when arriving as front door entry coded. Spiralling stairs awkward, even without a suitcase.

This hotel had been nicely refurbished to make it a nice comfortable and pleasing hotel to stay in.

Extremely clean, comfortable and it suited us as we needed a hotel close to the railway station. We had to return a hire car to Limoges and we stayed overnight to catch the tgv to Lille the next morning at the end of a five week holiday in France.

The hotel was perfectly located for us travelling from the South of France to Calais. The owner sent a welcoming email which was reassuring. When we arrived it was immediately obvious that the hotel is well cared for as it is spotlessly clean. A nice welcoming family run hotel at a good price.

It was completely unacceptable that there was no possibility of entry before 5. It was also very difficult to get back into the hotel after 9. I would never every stay at HF again.

Cleanliness of room and bathroom

Arriving @ 3.30pm the hotel was locked. We had to wait until 6pm to access the building after which we were given a code. Were unaware of this and being Saturday afternoon the park was the only place we could sit with our luggage. Only other complaint no fans in rooms and sleeping with windows open invtited mosquitos in. Customers should be told times the hotel is open. When leaving early the next morning 7.15 am No-one was around.

Within walking distance of city, friendly and helpful manager. Our double room was small but spotlessly clean, our children's twin room was bigger and more airy.Parking is on the road but we managed to find a space not too far away.

There is no air conditioning or tea/coffee making facilities.
