The only good thing about this hotel was the 5 minute walking distance to station 'Gare du Nord' The hotel is located in a very dirty Indian street that smells like Indian food 24/7 (if you openend the window in your room, your room would smell like Indian food aswell). When we arrived at the hotel we had to pay up front. This could be a sign that there was something wrong with the hotel. The rooms don't look anything like the pictures at the website! Not even close! At first they gave us a room on the ground floor. The room was very small and it looked like the bathroom hadn't been cleaned for years. The shower area was really disgusting. There was something brown/orange on the floor which we still don't know what it was. There was a leak in the room so we asked for another room. The staff didn't look surprised that we wanted to change rooms and gave us another room. We had to take the elevator which was very small and didn't look that stable. The second room was just as small as the first room but slightly better. At least there was a normal shower (that based on the hairs hadn't been cleaned). The cleaning service wasn't that great. They for sure didn't clean the bathroom and there was a weird smell at the hotel in general. The hotel is located in a very bad area. The people looked shady and I had the feeling that anybody could rob me at any time. There were no nice cafes and bars in the area and everything would close very early. We've tried to avoid being at and near the hotel as much as possible. I would definitely not recommend this hotel! Especially if you're planning on staying there for more than 1 night.

considering the neighborhood, which at first sight, seems a little rough...but it is just not upscale rather than rough. In any case, our room was very well done. The bed was very comfortable, and the value for Paris, incredible. I did not have time to try the buffet, unfortunately. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Location is good and it is centrally located. So it is easy to reach even in the late evening around 11 pm. And still we saw people on street. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Though they claimed that I will have good wifi connectivity, I could not get network in my room (222). We faced the problem of bathtub chocking. Towels were not very clean though they change it everyday. Staff was friendly but helpless.

The location of the hotel is easily reachable from Le Chapelle metro station, which is also connected with Gare du Nord, so it's really convenient. There are plenty Indian shops which sell things you may need on the street and restaurants in case you get sick of French cuisine. You can also walk around 20min to Le Sacre Couer. The hotel staff are very nice I must say. Although I would not classify them as dangerous, the people in the area are kinda scary. Women walking alone at night would not be recommended. Our room had a spider web near the ceiling, and there was water constantly dripping from the air-conditioner. Other than that the room was ok.

The neighborhood in which the hotel is located is horrible. The streets are very dirty and unsafe, especially at night. The hotel staff does not understand englis very well and they did not wanted to book us a shutle for the airport because they did not get a comision from that shuttle service. They recomended us a more expensive shuttle service because they were getting a comision. The internet facilities were very poor and the toilet smelled very bad. I will never return to this hotel ever again!

Proximity to Nord de Gard train station was excellent. It took us 8-10 m inutes to walk to the hotel. Even though you are in Paris, I would opt for Indian food nearby! We had a huge dinner for two adults at a nearby Indian restaurant and the total costs with drinks came to under 40 euro, not bad. Lots of Indian diners to choose from nearby. A big plus for us was that the hotel was able to provide us with a baby crib and stroller, which was really nice. We arrived at Nord de Gard train staion at 1100:00p-m and walked to this hotel directly from the station. We were shocked at how rough the area felt; many shady characters, would not recommend arriving at the station and walking much past dark (get a taxi if you do). Breakfast was not included, 10 euro per person. Internet service didn't work well and their computer was down, which was a disappointment at the end of the trip.

We didn't use any hotel services, not even breakfast, but it served it's purpose as somewhere close to the gare du nord to stay for one night on our arrival in Paris for a one day visit. The room was clean, quiet smart.

The rooms are clean and renovated. The location of the hotel made me feel a bit uncomfortable, since it is in the middle of the Indian-town. It does not seem to be safe in the evening time.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the rooms were spotless, with high quality linen Location is very poor, busy road with low class or boarded up shops, didnt feel safe. The lift and corridors are very tight, but ok for budget. Chose this hotel for its proximity to the Gare Du Nord, but was still a taxi ride away.

Excellent location - on foot distance to Gare du Nord train station. Noisy hotel: doors slamming in nighttime. Common areas not very clean (bedsheets changed in the middle of the corridor).

When booking the hotel I was impressed with the photos on the net. We had a limited amount of money to spent on accomodation but also set ourselves a standard whereby we would either accept or disregard certain hotels etc. The rooms on the inside were really clean and beautiful but the outside of this hotel was truelly dissapointing as well as the location of the hotel. I can almost by loss of the right word describe it as a "dodgy" area. We left very early the next morning. Hotels advertising on this webpage should also give pictures showing their "outer appearance" because if I had seen that as well as the neigbourhood that it was in I would definetly not have taken my family there. We also left with all of our luggage the next day since there was not even a fascility to leave the luggage untill we left for the airport later that day. All the other hotels offered this service. Both the other hotels I have booked on this site was excellent!
