Location although not the nicest of areas, it was central and easy to travel to and from.
Not much facilities, rooms and en-suite quite small.
Hotel very shabby. Air conditioning unit leaked on wardrobe and spare pillows, had to change rooms at 11p.m. Breakfast room very small and seating totally inadequate. One morning due to huge group of students, no seats, so came to take tray upstairs to very few seats there, but no tea bags, no croissants, no orange juice or water. Unacceptable service.
Room was clean. Wi-Fi
On check in, we were given our room card only to find this room was already in use by another guest! Bed springs were shot in the mattress. Walls leading up staircase to the room were broken and window didn't close properly in the room. Elevator out of use!
Bed and bathroom facilities.
No tea making facilities in room and small breakfast selection.
Close to train station and Metro Staff were good and helpful Room was cleaned daily to a good standard.
Fridge did not work Air conditioning had a leak and was not repaired Some light bulbs were not working on the first night Television was situated in a dangerous place during our stay Toilet and bathroom was to small Water sometimes was only luke warm.
Location - as it is just 5 minutes walk to Gare du Nord.
Hotel is not in good condition. Lift is not working. We are having luggage and small kids and got room in 2nd floor. Lift is not working and face bit difficulty to carry luggage. Room size is too small for family of four.Room is also not that good and it is side of main road so you can hear all the noice (until 2 am..). Bed sheets are having visible marks.
Excellent location (close to Gare du Nord). Staff ok, good bed, everything working, free wifi, solid speed.
Room too small, almost no room for baggage.
Nothing really, the bed was adequate but we already had paid so had no choice but to make the best of it.
The breakfast was a joke, if the milk ran out you got dry cereal for breakfast, they wouldn't replenish the milk. Only got plain yoghurt a croissant. Air conditioner only worked for 20 min. Then quit. Called the deskto look at it, they never showed up had to contact booking.com to get it looked at. Then it got fixed but they turned it down so low it was very cold and took the remote so you couldn't change it.
Excellent transport connections.
Indian neighbourhood. Looks dangerous at night.
I liked that the hotel was close to gare du nord
Had to walk far to get to rooms+up a lot of stairs There was items left from the person before-razor, soap etc on the sink. Room seemed to be cleaned but wasn't impressed by this.
Cleanliness, Near to Gare du Nord
The reception staff were very nice.
The air conditioning did not work and nothing was done After I reported the problem.
Friendly staff Near the Eurostar station
Carpets and curtains too too old. Poor lighting in the room and on stirs
The paid-extra Wi-Fi in the room was 100% useless - only the Wi-Fi at the office worked and therefore the office was always over-run by teenagers.
lift not working. Felt exhausted used steps to top floor.
Close to public transport.
All the take away food, supermarkets & shops were Indian. We wanted French or English.
Good location, quiite close to one of the central train stations (Gare du Nord). Good metro connections. Clean, everything worked.
A bit small and stuffed.
Nothing at all. Very very disappointed and a very hot and frightened child.
No Ac when we booled expected this with a young child. The hotel should not have any star rating at all!!! Room above flooded sending water through our ceiling which leaked all night. Manager put his hand through the ceiling, pulled it down, plugged it with towels and told us it was nothing to worry about. Could not even move us.
The only good thing about this hotel is that the rooms are clean. Cleaners keep it very tidy and clean it every day.
Staff are extremely rude, unfriendly and not helpful at all. Very poor breakfast, no fruits, no vegetables but rock hard baguettes and ok croissant. Aircon in the room wasn't working and the fridge only works when you are in the room and your security card is inserted so it provides electricity. For this amount of money I'm sure you can find a better location and service!!
rude staff, they only cared about money. The staff were keeping speaking in French even after I told them I didn't understand French. Also, I asked the male staff to help me to print out my train tickets, and he charged me 3 euros which he didn't tell me before he printed out the tickets. I think it is fine if he told me beforehand , so i can decide whether I will print it in the hotel or not. I had NO choice that he printed out the tickets and I really needed it. I have printed out my tickets in other hotels before, but none of them charged me. Ask before if you want any service in this hotel to avoid unreasonable charge.
Close to Gare du Nord
small dark rooms, not friendly staff, poor wifi, terrible stairs and lift!!! (seriously!?) the hotel is located in dirty indian area, kitchen outside smells all over the rooms, so can't open the window. have no idea who gave 3 stars to this hotel, as you can find much much better hotel for same money!
Location, cleanliness of the room, comfy beds.
Useless staff, no consideration with guests. They gave our room to OTHER GUESTS at 12am at night, so we got 3 people entering our room while we were getting ready to bed!! That's totally unacceptable! When we complained, they didn't even appologize and laughed at us! In the next morning, the receptionist gave us some breakfast vouchers and asked: "are you happy now?" with an ironic smile. We asked to talk to the manager, but he was always too busy to talk to us. Also, we were given a room in another building that was being renovated - which means it was totally dirty, no staff at all (they said they had security cameras and it would be fine.. really?), loads of rubbish around the hallway and construction guys on our balcony during the day, so we could never keep curtains or windows open and were always afraid of someone entering the room!!! Also, the air con didn't work not even for a day and it was super hot as we were there for 5 days in late June. We asked twice for a room in the main building, but they kept saying they only had triple rooms in the same building we were staying. Another big problem was the fobs to open our room door. They would NEVER work but we would only find out when trying to enter the room, so we had to go to the main building every day to ask the staff to fix it. We DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone. If you want to have a nice and pleasant stay, surrounded by staff that actually respect you and HELP you, go somewhere else. I'm sure any other hotel in Paris is better than this one.
The receptionist was very receptive to our needs, always there to help us, he is the one who did all the reservations for our different touristic attractions. Even if our room didn't have any hot water for showering ( before going to the airport) they have done everything to find us a a room next to us so we can go in and take our showers. Breakfast was always the same, I think it was just enough, hot bread, cheese, ham, cereals, orange juice and amazing croissants! I would say it's not bad after all.....
Very small bathroom, but cleaned. The pictures from their web site don't really show the exact rooms, i mean rooms are clean, but don't look as in the pictures.
Within walking distance of Gard du Nord station. Clean rooms.
There was building work going which we were not warned about. The entrance doors we had to use were not manned, you gained entrance with your swipe card but doors were slow to close and others could have gained access. We could not open windows because easy access from scaffolding right outside window. We were informed that breakfast was 10 euros but on last day discovered it was included in cost. Small rooms. Strong smell of curry from nearby restaurants.
Room was reasonably comfortable
No lift in the building and veranda was completely obstructed by scaffolding. Breakfast staff attempted to lift us of €10 cash each for our breakfast even though it was included with the room. Location is very far removed from attractions and significant walk to restaurants and shops. Area is entirely Indian populated with no availability of Western groceries etc. in the vicinity. Did not enjoy our stay in Paris. Would not recommend.
