La Maison Favart  

Hotel was nicely styled, but to ask the sort of price pAid, the sound issues were obvious and we were woken in the night with people showering and hearing people in the passage outside. This is more I keeping with a 2 star hotel some soundproofing should be provided. Some staff seemed to be providing directions that we could not follow. We would not stay again .

We thought that the room was much too small and that we should have been told this when we booked. We had to put our cases on top of one another to make room to move at all. Also we asked if we could have ablanket as we don't like doonas and we were told that there were none available. So we had to make our own bed with a sheet provided. The. The next day the sheets was taken off the bed by the staff and we had to try and remake the bed again. This is not satisfactory in a luxury hotel, and we have stayed at hotels all over the world and made the same request and it has been able to be catered for.

This hotel experience was superb. The staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly, which is extremely welcome in a city known for hostility to visitors. The rooms and common areas look superb and recently renovated. The deluxe double room we stayed in was lovely and had a very comfortable washroom and shower. Daily turndown service was an added and unexpected bonus. The wellness center offered a tranquil and relaxing pool and sauna which, while petite, were luxurious. We would unquestionably recommend the hotel and will return on future visits to Paris.

Very friendly, spoke good English, Hotel was very beautiful. Honesty bar great idea and daily tarte was delicious. Great location for visiting Musee D'Orsay, Louvre etc.. Also walkable from the Gare du Nord. Extremely clean, and very comfortable bed.

The room was lovely. We had an ipod dock and coffee machine in our room. The staff were fantastic, they had booked a restaurant for us and supplied a map of how to get there. We would definately stay here again.

The position of the hotel was excellent. Short walk to the Metro and walking distance to shops send variety of restaurants.

Very small rooms and paper thin walls.

Large comfortable room, good quality bed and bathroom. Coffee maker in the room was a plus. Very helpful staff and a great location for central sightseeing. I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family.

We had an excellent stay at La Maison Favart, the hotel is a small(ish) boutique hotel in the Opera district, perfect for a short walk to most shopping areas of the Louvre. The Comedy Opera oppoiste is being refurbished, so the view outside the hotel is not the greatest and I was a little underwhelmed by the initial outside impression - but that all changes once you enter... It feels like a small family run hotel, with great service, and beautiful decoration and even a lovely spa/sauna which is perfect after a hard day shopping/sightseeing I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a nice luxury but homely hotel whilst in Paris

The only issue for me was the slightly dissappointing sight of all the building work going on outside the hotel, but once inside it's fine. Only a minor thing but they were not that great at restocking the mini-bar each day while we were there - but I suspect if I asked they'd be happy to oblige whatever you needed

After a long cold day out and about, it would have been lovely if the pool was a tad warmer.

The location, the cleanliness of the room and the staff at the gym

The breakfast is not good enough as the food variety is not enough We also have to wait at least 1 hour before we can check in. We arrived at 10 am on 21 oct, but we can check in at 3pm although the staff said we can check in at 2pm. We were so tired after a long flight and the female staff was a little bit rude to us.

The staff was excellent, providing an impeccable lever of service (with a smile).

Wonderful location. Walking distance to shopping and many sights. Very close to the Metro. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great dinner recommendations to local bistros that we walked to. Very clean.

Too many little faults: tv failed twice; stain on bed; light switch fell off; one of lights faulty......
