Beautiful location

Breakfast was a rip off

the only thing was the evening meals were very good a little expensive

the room was in the attic area of the block, the toilet was right under a rafter and we hit our heads when getting up from using the toilet. the shower was only (30inches)very difficult to shower in.also no coffee or tea facilities in room.

The friendliness of the couple running the hotel, although they spoke no english and our french is limited we made ourselves understood and we got on very well I thoroughly recommend the hotel

I did not like your comments regarding the availability of rooms, you stated only one room left In fact the first night we were the only couple in the hotel, the second night 3 additional guests arrived, left the next day, and another couple checked in Your comments are most misleading

The hotel provides a good standard but charges a Premium rate for room, breakfast & evening meal, so in my opinion it is over priced and poor value for money - had I known this I would have stayed elsewhere

We arrived after a shopping trip soaking wet. After taking our bags to a delightful twin room we went downstairs into the comfortable lobby where there was a glorious ceramic log fire with comfortable chairs. We ordered coffee and brandy which went down very well and read the papers that we took with us. after a while we went up to shower and change for dinner. We had a choice of al a carte or 2 set meals one at 29 euro the other at 44 both were very good. we chose the 29 euros which had a great selection. At the end of the evening we retired to very comfortable beds. As it was in the countryside it was very quiet. The breakfast in the morning was marvellous with a cold buffet and hot boiled eggs. The hosts were extremely friendly and we will definitely be going again ,

Very nice farm in a beautiful natural setting, very quiet though close to the seaside. Excellent cooking,friendly staff, very comfortable and clean room.

breakfast overpriced

This is a wonderful place - quiet, comfortable and, as you would expect from one of the Logis chain, serves wonderful food. The couple who run the hotel have lived there for years ( it's been in their family for 3 generations) and it has the charm of an old farmhouse, wood burning stove in the reception, fires in the dining room and so on. There is a good size garden to relax in and plenty of parking. Our evening meal was superb and the breakfast the following day (not included in the room price) had a great choice. All this and only 20 minutes from the Eurotunnel terminal in Calais. Worth an overnight stop for stocking up on Christmas goodies. We'll definitely be back.

The restaurant was excellent with a good menu and a nice wine list. The food was fantastic on the first night, maybe less so on the second as we didn't want to eat the same meal twice. The family room was comfortable apart from one night when it was just too hot to sleep. Lovely gardens, especially for drinking a large, cold beer in!

Breakfast was expensive at 14 Euros each - we ended up eating at a cafe in Marquise up the road for 18 Euros for all 4 of us. On a very warm day (30C) the family room was too hot - it is on the top floor of a two-storey building and it just never cooled down.

an attractive rural setting with ample safe parking. A little more detail on location/roads/access to A16 would have been helpful. It is rather tucked away.

this is a pretty little hotel, set in a beautifally restored old farm, with friendly family owners, whose family have owned the property for over a hundred years, surrounded by rolling countryside. Absolutely quiet, with log stove from local Devres porcelain factory in the hall, and welcoming cosy dining rooms. The garden is beatiful and full of gorgeous mature plants. Half an hour from Calais, and a great Le Clerc supermarket to stock up nearby.

Superb grounds and seating areas to relax in. Restaurant service and food good.

Noisy stairs leading to rooms 9 and 10. Drinks and food a little over priced compared to similar establishments including the one they kindly booked for us on Sunday when their restaurant was closed. Cannot do justice to 14 euro breakfast after 3 course evening meal so did not partake,

The country setting was peaceful and picturesque.

The breakfast was overpriced as one would have expected to receive a cooked selection for the price charged. The main meal was good but the wines were very expensive. The tiled floor outside rooms 6-11 was dangerous in wet weather. 'One last bedroom' was indicated on the website which was rubbish.

Fabulous evening meal. Beautiful surroundings. Elegant converted farm buildings. Perfect location for a post-channel ferry crossing stop over. Friendly owners and staff.

Breakfast a tad expensive so we took coffee only in the lounge. Excellent.

Lovely little hotel, the pictures do not do it justice, it is an old farmhouse set in its own courtyard of barns and outbuildings, very idylic and charming in a lovely rural setting. The rooms were clean and welcoming and the grounds perfect for sitting outside in and enjoying a glass of wine in the evening.

A very well run hotel in idylic location. The shame was that, due to illness, the kitchen was closed for dinner. But, we will be back.

Very nice situation and the rooms were very good. We are a family of four and sometimes find it difficult to find a comfortable and value for money family room. the place has a very good feel.

We thought the breakfast was pricey at 14 Euros per person over 7 years. We have two childeren who eat very little at breakfast.
