Arrogant staff, (except for the charming young man who welcomed us, he was very helpful in many ways, (and spoke very good english). The young lady who told us the way on the phone was likewise). Deskclerk was a total disaster. |

The peace, allied with an attention to detail and service with first class restaurant. I would highly recommend the hotel to others. |

The location was close to the Normandy Beach WW II sites and the Bayeau Tapestry, but also in a beautiful country location. This "upscale vintage farmhouse" was a special place to stay. The food was excellent as well. Although the rooms were the perfect combination of charming and old with a modern bathroom, the room for two had space for only one suitcase. |

The setting was very beautiful as well as the buildings and facilities. The room was very comfortable. The hotel was not very easy to locate. The village and hotel were very poorly indicated on the surrounding roads. Better sign-posting and sending out a detailed map would help. |

I liked the historical surroundings and the attention to detail without the stuffiness and formality that might have existed. The proximity to major sightseeing was excellent although the country location was so peaceful. |

The setting is beautiful, though the map on the website pretty poor. It is easy to find as it's on the side of the road at a roundabout, but that wasn't apparent from the instructions. The room, although small was beautifully decorated and very clean and cosy. We were warned that the room was small and above the restaurant but it was ok for one night The restaurant! I am a vegetarian and had arranged in advance for a veggie option. Once seated, I was told that I was in a minority and that they were busy. I was offered a plate vegetables or an omelette (eventually) and still charged 28 euros! The meal was rushed and the room cold. Would not do this again, a shame because it was rated highly on the website. We didn't bother with breakfast. |

Lovely place, good silence location. Hotel staff is very friendly, I liked style in our room because it is really beautifully. Allowed smoking in room as well. Heater & small kettle in the room were good. No service in the room, we tried to make a offer (dinner/breakfast) in room, but it wasn't possible. No easy foods like sandwich or something else. Restaurant was closed after noon. Cold floor in room, it is tile. So, if you don't have a car, you can only walking in a small area around the hotel. Nothing more to do there... |

All of above and character of buildings, nearness to D-Day coastline, Bayeux. We stayed at Maison Mathan - excellent but you have to walk 600 metres to dinner. didn't bother us but others might not like this. |

Our room was Quaint, a little small but for our one night stay we loved it. Unfortunately the restaraunt only had two places left, and we were meeting four friends so we missed out on a meal, but it was not a problem. Perhaps the next time! |

An absolutely beautiful hotel and the highlight of our 3-week vacation in Europe. Large, spacious rooms with king size beds. Each room unique and tastefully decorated. Great location in the middle of Normandy snd quiet countryside. Dining room is superb providing excellent dinner and breakfast. Bravo to the owners and staff. |

Set in a peaceful and verdant park, Le Chanteclair, a characterful 19th century house, welcomes you in a splendid countryside setting only 100 metres from the sea. |
Le Canada hotel is ideally located 100 meters from the sea and close to a wide range of water sports. |
Situated on a quiet pedestrian street in the heart of Old Bayeux, a mediaeval town near the D-Day landing beaches, is the charming Churchill Hotel. |
Gaiety and elegance are the two words which automatically spring to mind to describe this magnificent 18th-century chateau, a listed building set amongst exquisite French gardens and parkland. |
