Lovely little modern hotel with an IMac and Nespresso coffee machine in every room. Large walk-in shower and very comfortable bed. Quiet street. Modern decor is refreshing. Hallways to the rooms are very dark. Rooms are small but space is efficiently managed. Breakfast is expensive but many cafes nearby.

As usual our satisfaction depends on two basics- cleanlines and service with location. a close third. At first we wondered why there were so few reviews (an initial concern) but learnt that the hotel has only been opened for 4 months. The room was comfortable with a bathroom and separate toilet(which I especially liked) and spotlessly clean, and the staff could not be faulted, very friendly and helpfull and all spoke good English. The area was quiet and seemed to be mainly residential with a supermarket, fish shop, bakery, chemist etc close by. Also a number of good restaurants just down the road. We enjoyed the Bistro le Rosseau so much we went there twice (try the mussels and squid in the entree section mmmmm!) Also recommended, and very good, was le Magots (about a 20 min walk ) The hotel was also close to 2 Metro stations. As we arrived from Bordeaux by train, we were able to walk to the hotel from the Gare Montparnasse, and get the airport bus from there when we left.

Hotel was well situated, walking distance from most places. Room was beautifully decorated and space well used. We didn't have breakfast as it was expensive but plenty of cafe nearby so easy to get food. The staff were helpful and in particular the night port man. Room was very cold at night. They gave us a heater but I felt the problem should have been sorted next day but I saw it been worked on the day we left- three days later

What a beautiful hotel - Paris is well know for horrible hotels with terrible service. But this place is first class - tastefully decorated rooms, impeccable and attentive staff all to create a wonderful experience. I had nothing to fault with this hotel.

Amazingly comfortable and amazingly clean. Staff were exceptionally helpful and immediately welcoming (gave me a little tour of the hotel upon arrival) and I was so impressed that they asked me for feedback 'as they were new' and would like how to know how they could improve (I was a bit stumped on this one as everything was perfect). We received an upgraded room upon our arrival. Location is great...lots of great shopping in that area, 2 blocks walk to the nearest metro and an outdoor (huge) market 2 blocks away. Beautiful room designs and absolutely amazing bathroom and shower (wall jets, huge rainhead shower) and everything is brand new and in good condition as they are newer hotel. Daily breakfast could be offered to hotel guests for a lower rate (it was 20 euros) or for people that only need a coffee and a bit of food in the morning perhaps they could offer a 'petite' breakfast with a reduced helping option I.E. coffee, croissant, piece of fruit. This would have enticed me to spend my euros at the hotel V.S. going to a cafe (although I didn't mind this at all as they are on every corner and that's part of the fun).

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Belle Juliette. It is new, modern, and very cozy. I think the one thing we liked best was the staff and how courteous and professional they all were.

Nice, small hotel on the left bank, great location far from main touristic routes, real "Paris atmosphere". Great design of the rooms, rooms are not very large, but for Paris it's ok. Staff wasn't professional enough sometimes, prices are a little bit high for such a level.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Bed very comfortable. Extremely excellent water pressure in shower. Best of all for us "wooden floors", no dusty carpets, air filter system very good, we could breath. Price - but that's Paris

The hotel is an excellent part of the city. St. Germaine des Pres is one of the best, if not best neigborhoods in the city. The hotel is very stylish and uniquely decorated with lots of flair and character. The hotel is smart, newly decorated from top to bottom. Our room was very nice and has wonderful amenities. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We didn't have the opportunity to eat lunch there, but the lunch menu looked fabulous. Would love to return!

We were informed beforehand by the hotel staff that the spa wasn't available because of "improvement works" and could upgrade to a deluxe room. The room was really great, bath was so nice, very deep, on Sunday morning we could open the window and enjoy the sun while lying in the bath. The iMac is very handy (TV, Free Internet, DVD/CD player, plays songs from your iPod/iPhone). 12 euro's for a Coke and Orangina in the hotel garden. But I guess that's just Paris.

Location, comfortable mattress, pillow, mac in room, shower. Felt the literary ethos of the hotel as described in its website and on booking.com was contrived and misleading. There were no books in our room and indeed those that there were in the bar area seemed only to be part of the furnishings. We had to call their attention to some cleanliness issues upon arrival and not all staff were particularly friendly. Room was tiny and pool also.

The hotel is very new and very clean. The design is very nice and the idea behind (the life of Madame Juliette) interesting. The food was great. The garden cute and relaxing. Location is perfect just between Montparnasse and Saint Germain des Pres. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable. Size of the room. We have stayed at superior and the room was really small. Fortunately we have not came with our baby as planned, because the babycot in the room blocked the access to the closet.

“A perfect hotel in a perfect location. The receptionist and staff were excellent and made our stay absolutely perfect. The hotel is a boutique and is fashionable and trendy but has practical touches. On arrival we were upgraded, unprompted, to an executive room. The room was big and spacious and the bed was too comfy and we had a double shower. The room had everything we needed and the complimentary coffees and umbrellas came in useful. All in all, this hotel is perfect for a romantic break and very central for all the tourist sites. Thank you for making our stay perfect.” John, Drighlighton, Bradford |

“We found this hotel to be in the perfect location for a wide varity of restaurants, pubs and we walked to all attractions from the hotel(we are in our late 30's / early 40's). It's an 8min. walk from the RER B station(train from airport). We would stay there again and would recommend to friends.” Darren, Hopedale |
