First Hotel    

Promenadavstånd på ca 7 min till Eiffeltornet. Placerat vid en tunnelbanestation (Cambronne), som du lätt tar dig överallt med i hela Paris innerstad. Mysigt kvarter med många bra restauranger. Speciellt "Edith Marie"! Stort rum med självreglerbar luftkonditionering, fantastiskt stor och skön säng, daglig prickfri städning, tyst hotell i övrigt, ordentliga gäster, inget hotell för småbarnsfamiljer vilket var ett stort +, trevlig personal, ingen room service, bra service om man behövde hjälp. Vi är jättenöjda att vi valde First Hotel framför andra. Det är inte det billigaste, men när man varit ute en hel dag i Paris och letat sig fram till sevärdheter och strosat runt på gatorna i Montemarte så var det guld värt att komma "hem" till detta rum. Vi fick definitivt värde ut av varenda krona vi betalade! (2800:- för 4 nätter per person på booking.com, specialpris)

Metro entrance / Cambrone - line 6 / was just under my window - so you have all Paris in 15 min. Amazing view from the window - Eifel Tower !! Very very clean and one of the best bathrooms i have ever used in a hotel. Artistic view of the room - all in black and white.

The room a little too small - if you had 2 big suitcases the second one was a problem to keep in the room ...

Night receptionist not very knowledgeable

Location near to Metro and central to Montparnarsee, friendliness of front desk staff and the young man every morning at breakfast.

The price of breakfast, no bar to sit and have a drink.

Nice hotel, value for money. Nice staff, very clean rooms. Close to the center. Good breakfast? Could recommend it strongly for travelers.

The air con wasn't working, very noise when window open,

First... &Quot;Art-Deco" has to be your "thing", or you will never get past; the ceiling lights made from hats, the stark red and black staircase, the black hallways (with lone red light over the elevator), or the leopard-print fuzzy wallpaper and black everything- else decor of the rooms. That being said, the facilities were clean and comfortable. The staff met the minimum expectation for staff. They were courteous and knew how to run a credit-card - but don't expect too much beyond that. Although offered (at e15pp), we never had breakfast at the hotel - mostly because there where about 50 cafe's and restaurants within 200m. The location was great. We never took the Metro (although right across from the hotel, the noise did not bother) or a taxi (taxi-stand right outside the hotel) the entire time we were there and walked to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Notre Damn and Arch du Triumph (of course, that is some pretty serious walking - but we were not in a hurry). The value was average.

We booked this hotel on short notice and it was the only one that could take three people. And although this hotel is not to my normal standards, it isn't scratched from the list and I would stay there again in a pinch.

Next to Cambrone Metro Station, a very good Bakery, and a Tapas Restaurant. Parking is very near, and the Hotel gives a discount rate.

The room was a little small, but we managed the space, and it worked.

My stay was pleasant and the staff members were very friendly and quite helpful. After a hectic day at work, I was so looking forward to be back to my room to rest. I will definitely go back.

I loved the entire design of the hotel so v elegant. It had central heating with towel heating. They also paid attention to every request I made. The staff Benedict, Jean and everybody were so pleasant and were so eager to help. Always smiling and kind. It was directly opp the metro. I was also lucky to meet the owner. Lovely lovely people. They made Paris a wonderful experience for me and I will definitely stay there again. So in love. Uche

The location was perfect and the staff was very helpful

Very easy to get to very good directions. Lovely area close enough to tourist attractions but far enough out to see the real Paris. Didn't both with breakfast as seemed a shame to waste the opportunity of visiting various cafes in Paris. Great for adventuring 1-3 nights would not stay longer due to the lack of facilities.

Rather hot in the rooms as the heating is controlled centrally not independently. Lack of facilities however this is due to the size and shape of the building not due to to choice so all in all 7/10

We extended our stay for one extra night. The hotel front desk Ms. Benedicte told us it's 149Euro/night; but when we checked out they charged us 170Euro. It was early morning and we had to catch our flight. So we couldn't wait for the manager to come over. After got home, we made phone calls and sent email for this issue, never heard anything back. Have stayed many hotels around the world, this hotel is the first one that couldn't even deliver its price promise.

Design of the room, and the spacious bathroom. Staff is very friendly, and the rooms are tidy and clean. Wardrobe in rooms are perfect for keeping luggage contents organized.

What really was so good is that in the bathroom there was a water hose which was really helpful and encourages us to book First Hotel again in future .

The elevator was so slow and the room was so small that it was really hard to move easily and to find a place for our luggage .

To be honest, I din't like the hotel at all.

Every thing. First of all, we reached the hotel with geart difficulty, since none of the taxi drivers knew this hotel which shows how famous is this hotel. Secondly even after with great difficulty reaching the hotel, the hotel reception guy was on the phone almost like 20 mins keeping us waiting thier. Since the check-in time for me was at 3:00 we kept the lagauge in their kitchen as a lagauge room. Once when me and My wife came back after a quick city tour we where offered a shocking room even after booking a comfort room. Room starts and ends in 3-4 steps. And once I entered the bathroom and opened a water tap. The entire piping was leaking and in the vold season of 2 degree I was all wet. When I complained and asked the reception guy to change the room for me he 1st refused saying "sir u have already used the room". It was hardly 2 mins we were in the room and I had to raise my voice to change my room. Me & my wife still can't believe a world s one of the toppest tourist spot paris having such a hotel and staff. It was 100% disappointing. We were forced to stay because they had already taken full payment and the cancellation charge was 100%.

We loved the location, and that it was so easy to get to and from the airport. There´s a tube station just across the street, with great connections to all the big attractions. The hotel was only 10 minute walk to the Eiffel tower, and we even got a room with a balcony and view of the tower, which was amazing, and what we had hoped for. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was really cool. We loved the interior!
