A great budget hotel it was clean and very central. Great value for money. Even though the general appearance and decor is a bit worn I would not really complain for the price.

Wonderful hotel, staff was very helpful with my requests and absolutely close to everything. I was in Paris to run the Marathon and having the metro across the street and close to the race start and finish was perfect. Can't beat the location or the price. I'm a big athletic guy, 6'4" 245 lbs. The shower was tiny and if I moved to fast could bump the faucet and change the water temperature by simply turning around. It's not a bad fault, just something to note.

The location is just fabulous. In all other respects it's a usual Paris hotel with tiny rooms, tiny elevator and narrow corridors. But it's clean and quiet, with free wifi, and supermarket is nearby.

Location and wifi Room was tiny even by Paris standards. Windows were not double pane so you heard everything going on outside all night long, which in my case was people yelling at the top of their lungs until 4am when they stopped yelling and started whistling loudly ?!? I didn't like the idea of leaving your key with the staff in the lobby when you went out...and by staff I mean a rumpled, unshaven man who sleeps on the sofa in the lobby. I only needed a place to crash for one night on my way back from southern France before I got to the airport for an early flight. I crashed but didn't sleep a wink.

The location is perfect, so many sightseeings are near the Hotel. In the evening you can find a lot of places where you can take a glass of vine and during the day you will be able to have a great shopping.

Very strategic location, friendly staff, bath tub equipped with soap, hair-dryer etc. Location alone cannot justify the price. Small room, very noisy, no fridge. Heating was de-activated once keys are returned to the reception, resulting in a quite cold room.

Perfect if you are going to Paris with the express intention of expolring the city and not staying your hotel room (as should be the case). Great location and cheap. Maybe not good if you are thinking of proposing, but well worth the cheap but decent-ish option.

This hotel was very clean, it and our room were well maintained throughout our stay. We enjoyed the bathroom with deep tub and hand held shower, great for soaking after a long day on your feet. Wifi was free and reliable. It is in a perfect location for walking to Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Left Bank, the Bastille, etc., as well as for shopping and cafes. Also close to Metro stops. Breakfast was plentiful for delicious, fresh croissants and baguettes, also a nice pot of coffee and orange juice. Given the price per cup of coffee in the Paris cafes, which is not steep but is for a tiny, espresso cup, the 6€ cost per person was very reasonable for breakfast delivered to our room. Breakfast hours seem to fluctuate, and we would have liked to see a consistent 7:00-7:30 am availability. We liked that the window in our room opened onto the street, but street noises at times disrupted sleep. There were no face cloths in the bathroom, which would have been an appreciated option. Hotel staff were very cordial and helpful when asked, but never offered if there was anything they could help us with. It would have been nice if staff were aware of things going on locally and offered that information to guests. For example, we discovered by accident the delightful outdoor market near the Bastille plaza, which runs on Thursday and Sunday. So fun, and so typically Paris, and an easy walk from the hotel.

We stayed four nights and it was a great base to see Paris. Very close to all the sights, steps away from the subway station. Can walk just about everywhere, and good shopping on Rue Rivoli. The room was small, but cosy. Some road noise, but not bad. Felt safe in the area. All in all I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

It has a great location and the room was fairly clean, though really small. It's a bit noisy as every other central Paris location. The bathroom was small and quality was low. Vey tiny corridors, but one can live with that. The service was average, nothing special, but also nothing particularly wrong.

Location. Close to the gay clubs and bars and right in front of the Chatelet Metro Station so that was convenient. There was no air conditioning in this hotel which made the stay and sleep very unpleasant. The elevator and shower were exactly the same size both of which were extremely small. I was hitting so many things in the shower including a hot pipe, the water valve and window. One of the screens was slightly broken.

First of all, the location. Very close to the Forum Les Halles and right across the street from the subway Chatelet. There is a lift, altought very small (two people) Unremarkable cleanliness and the chambermaid was very friendly. If you expect a clean, safe and no-frills hotel to stay, that´s the place. Very tight and messy corridors. No air conditioning. Maybe it was because my terrible french, but i never felt the front desk staff particularly friendly. The lady seems to give more importance to language details than to their guest´s demand (our babycot was broken. Even if i called it "berceau" by mistake, she should have taken some action). The guy, when i asked him for a cab, could have at least checked with the cab company about the availability of a big car. He said that "taxis in Paris are small" (before calling) and then we went for two cabs, just to discover that both cars were big enough for our needs.

I love its location and think it is Paris's best kept secret! My husband and I have stayed before, so for a holiday with my older children I chose it for its value for money, and ease of access to all the places we wanted to visit. I received great help from Herve before I arrived who answered my queries in English. It is clean and comfortable if small, and the staff are helpful. Breakfast is excelent value. My husband and I will be back next time we are here from Australia. The only problem is the level of noise; which is surprising seeing it is tucked away in what should be a quiet street. Each time I have been there have been arguments, drunks misbehaving and loud talking until the early hours of the morning. This time is was also loud patrons from the bar below as they left for the night. It is not possible for management to change this I understand, and it is the price to pay for its reasonable tariff and convenient position.

5 minutes away from Louvre. This is the main thing. It's 2 stars and these stars are poor. But the location compensates for it.

Great location, just at the Metro exit and less than 50 m from Rue de Rivoli, very comfortable bed, nice reception staff and easy to find. Noisy...mind you it was the European Championship and that day France won but still being so close to the main street (not on the main street but less than 50 m) the traffic is heavy. But the location compensates for it.... 4 minutes to Louvre, 8-10 min to Notre Dame, 20 seconds to Metro main line Ligne 1, lots of restaurants near by, close to Hotel de Ville, Marais, Centre Pompidou. You get the idea.
