Locked at night
++ Ideal location ++ All you need in a decent-sized room ++ Good noise isolation from outside ++ Staff speaks English, are pleasant and at desk 24hrs ++ VERY reasonable price for location and quality of room and staff
-- wafer-thin walls between rooms don't isolate noise well -- lame breakfast -- tiny elevator may be an issue for some -- be clear this isn't a 5 star hotel, the rooms and furnishings aren't brand new, though clean
Metro is right infront of the hotel Close to many amenities Close to most attractions
Hard to find at first
> location location > 24hr front desk staff always helpful and receptive, adequate english > you should be here only to sleep and shower, otherwise seeing the city, so high-end amenities not needed > all the basics are well-covered > did I say this was inexpensive for the location?
> don't mistake this for a high-end Parisian hotel > some of the decor and furnishings getting a little tired > tiny archaic elevator > wafer-thin walls between rooms, but street noise ok with window closed: bring earplugs anyway
She is one of the desk attendants. Ask her for food recommendations. If she is not there, try Angelina's on Rue du Rivoli. Have the hot chocolate. You're welcome.
Others have mentioned the 2 ft. By 2 ft elevator.
Great location. Fast Wi-Fi. Nice staff. Supermarket just next door. Close to everything. Metro stop just one minute away.
The location is very good to reach many attractions by feet or by Subway, there is a tourist office nearby, where you can buy tours to castles or palaces near Paris, staff is very friendly and helpful with good knowledge of English, good shopping area around hotel. Don't miss small streets around hotel to seat in the café or buy French cheers and wine or something else.
Small room, old elevator and stairs, but if you don't have big luggage, it is OK. Noisy in the street, but in the autumn, when window is closed, it is not so dangerous.
The location was amazing. Staff is friendly and helpful.
The walls are quite paper thin, so u can hear other people etc. Had a room on the third floor and you could still hear people, cars, trucks from the main street throughout the night. Might be best to bring earplugs
Cute hotel in the heart of Paris. Best location ever. Good wifi. Helpful staff. I can just recommend.
location. breakfast coffee and fresh bread
tight space room fittings very basic
few steps to Louvre museum, and best wifi connection in hotel room, better than five star wifi, thanks.
small Lift,i stuck with my friend,ha ha ha ha :)
Room very small, but I guess ok for Center of Paris.
It's hard in Paris to get a nice hotel for this price.... In this hotel, you get an unfriendly staff, small facilities, not modern equipment, and a very small room with a humid bathroom.
location is great rooms are ok - rugs on floor could use an update but beds were comfortable
the noise factor outside at night but this comes with the location
Location great. Easy walk to places I wanted to visit and metro right there. Clean and comfortable bed. My own bathroom. Breakfast in room better option than tiny breakfast room. Nice eating places all around.
Bathroom small but adequate, although no ventilation. Shower curtain needed changing.
location is really vey good, close to the main street, there are a lot of shopping mall
The location was great I woul d stay there gain
The hotel was in a great spot, close to Metro stop Chatelet & in a good area for restaurants everything easy walking distance -Notre Dame, Louvre & Pompidou centre.Room was comfortable with everything you needed. Good value for money.
All good for me. In Summer may be warm in room , no airconditioner.
The noise in the street very late at night and no climatisation so we have to sleep with the window open.
great hotel in a great location, staff where very friendly and helpful, small but you would expect that a paris central hotel, would stay there again and recommend it to anyone wanting a very central ( close to metro) hotel
with it being so close to the metro entrance, it got quite noisy at night, also the room was very hot! but that's the only things I would say negatively about the hotel
the location made it easy to walk to many of the sights of Paris and to access the MET. The staff were very helpful. The small cafe next door made a tasty, good value breakfast for $9EU. The wi-fi worked at all times.
Nothing negative to say.
Across the street from a metro station which made life so easy. Pleasant desk staff. Comfortable bed.
The whole hotel is careworn and in need of major refurbishment. Furnishings are cheap, tacky and belong to the 1970s. No air con, so bedrooms must be intolerable when the weather is hot. Overpriced for what we got.
Good location for proximity to RER, Louvre, Rive Gauche, Notre Dame. Comfy bed, clean room, good bathroom, all necessities provided for a couple of nights. Free WIFI
No Air Con so a lot of late night street noise with open windows. Narrow stair case not good , use the lift
Nice located near Seine and some hundred meters from Louvre. The area was socially a living place where the Parisian´s lived, worked and went ou to sicialize.t Quite a few and nice shops around.
The traffic noice could be disturbing and during some nights the homeless people gathered in front of the hotel, shouting and urinating on the housewalls!
Good place and good price
