Excellent, helpful staff; command of English of front desk persons very good. Location superb for catching trolley on adjacent street, or train station a few short blocks away. Shopping, dining, snacking all very close. Beach area ten minute walk. Try Old Town for a good selection of restaurants. Will be back. Air conditioning worked fine in my room--needed for sure in July and August. Lift European smallish, but adequate to get your luggage up or down; you'll use the stairs most of time. Did not sample breakfast, though did have a look: average in appearance. Plenty of nearby places to get a bite. Restaurant next door more than adequate for the quick meal. Pillows of the granite, curb height variety; did not ask for replacement; may have had some, but don't know. WiFi a bit weak in my room, at times too slow. May have been shared by too many persons, who knows--but you probably aren't going to Nice to log on all day. |

position within easy walking distance of the lovely old nice shopping/cafes/bars/restaurants, and the reception staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. |

The location was great and after an initial problem we ended up in a really nice room with a balcony. It is in the centre of the main shopping area and very convenient and pleasant. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our initial room was not nice. There was a bad smell in the bathroom and we asked to be moved. The hotel kindly sorted us out with a very pleasant and clean room. |

it is close to the city centre, all the shops,restaurants and beach. rooms were extremely small, the elevator was always busy, we had a room with view to another building 5 metres from our window, the air conditioner was working even if we closed it down, we had morning headaches due to it. |

very good positioning, within walking distance from all major nice attractions. helpful and professional staff, and good breakfast although very expensive. Small rooms, and even smaller bathrooms.Had to rearrange the room's furniture to make space to walk through the room. The strength of wifi on the floor was very weak and with continuous interruptions. The breakfast was also very expensive, as was the parking in the neighbouring shopping centre Nicetoile (~18€/day). Overall, quite expensive for what it offers. |

The staff at the hotel was very kind. The place is very convenient. The hotel is near the Jean Medecin station the tram. Breakfast was very delicious. |

We upgraded to a mini-suite and it was very comfortable. Our original booking for a standard room would have been very cramped. If possible, get a mini-suite on the top floor - they have a private balcony. Very convenient location if you don't have a car. Hotel is in pedestrian-only area. Two good restaurants at the door. Tram just across the street. Breakfast was buffet-style and comprehensive. Some of the standard rooms are very small. If they didn't have an upgrade available (+30 euro for mini-suite) we would have been very cramped and uncomfortable. We saw other non-suite rooms which were acceptably large, so it's worth checking. |

We really enjoyed the breakfasts, the cozy bar at the end of the day, shopping and dining places! Walking distance to the train station and the beach. Happened to be there on our anniversary when the city of Nice was celebrating 150 years, so we also experienced fireworks which as fun! |

The staff were very good and accommodating. Even though I do not speak French I had no problem communicating with them. The same holds true for the night time staff The elevator was too small especially if you had a lot of luggage |

Well located for Nice trains, dining and water front- all close by on foot. Good free internet access and comfortable bar/lounge area. Tiny room with double bed but otherwise good facilities |

The position was excellent, close to beach and shops etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a very comfortable lounge for guests with tv, internt and a bar. The initial room I was given was very small, at the back of the building and the bathroom had a bad smell, After I complained I was given a better room the next day. As I had booked well in advance I thought it poor I was initally given such a bad room. It was a bit expensive seeing no breakfast was provided. |

Good location, close to the pedestrian walkway and the beach. Lots of little cafe's and restaurants nearby. Good shopping area. The section of the hotel we stayed had no air conditioning, so if the weather had been hotter, it could have been a problem. When I booked several months ago, I had requested a terrace, but none was available when we arrived. One had been available prior, but they hadn't reached me to confirm it, so they didn't keep it, even though I had already requested it. |
