Hôtel-Résidence Les Floridianes

Excellent location, just a short walk from center of city, train station, bus station (drop off for coach from TGV station outside the city) but on a quiet street. Room was smallish for 3 people but well designed and equipped to sleep four in double bed and daybed plus trundle. Separate WC--always a plus--and large bathroom. Pool was beautiful and lots of deck chairs to catch the Provencal sun. I can't imagine a better choice in Aix for the combination of location and facilities and I know the city well from having studied here.

10-minute walk to nearest bakeries, 15 minutes to Monoprix food store. But it's an easy, flat walk, so it was no big deal for us.

Central location and parking

There were very noisy guests, drinking at the pool and being obnoxious at night. Front desk staff seemed passive about the situation.

Within walking distance of town centre. A lovely secluded swimming pool. Family room for four. Very helpful staff. Clean & comfortable room, kitchenette, bathroom and beds.

Too many problems (elevator did not work, Internet didn't work in the first room, one of the sockets in the room did not work and so on). The room is strangely structured

Reasonably located to walk everywhere around AIX

The room felt tired; everything was just a bit too worn out.

Excellent location - can walk into the centre within 5-10 minutes. If you are using public transport you are directly behind the railway station and the TGV/Airport bus stops within the Gare Routiere, leaving you only a few minutes from the hotel. The pool was popular and a great cool off as Aix can get very humid in the afternoon. The room was larger than expected and nicely laid out.

There can be some news from the pool but that is a small niggle.

There was not much we liked. The accommodation was like a cramped caravan. Very poor value for money and not in a very nice part of Aix. I would not recommend it at all.

Location and garage

Not too far from Old Town. Able to make meals and eat on Balcony. Swimming pool! Good value for money.

We were not given any instructions re services offered in apartment type hotel. Did not get room cleaned while there and had to ask for towels, The space was small for 4 people but price was right. Construction on road to hotel made access difficult to locate and hot and dusty to walk, Not the hotel's fault but we could have been warned. Staff not very friendly compared to other places we stay
