Perfect seaview

Cleaning was poor, pillowcovers were not cleaned - just stuffed in the closet...

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was kept clean. Nice to wake up to sea air by the beach every day

Room was a little bit small. Breakfast was not included. It was a bit pricey as an extra.

The heat was on which was good as the weather was poor. plenty of towels and they were soft not like tea towels. The breakfast was tasty and good value.Nice views from front of house and sitting outside if the weather is pleasant.

I booked this hotel because they said their was parking, their was space for 4 cars. the cars were parked in front of each other so first in was unable to get out unless they moved the other ones. We arrived Saturday night so I didnt have to worry untill Monday morning but it was awkward. There is no lifts. A lick of paint is also needed.

There are no lifts so you have to drag your bags up flights of stairs. The hotel staff are not friendly and do not help or offer anything or any service. The rooms were dirty and not vaccumed and walls in bathroom splattered with things. The décor is aweful and so old (not antique) but dirty and dated. Appauled at the state of anything here and not good value. Would not recommend even to sleep. The location is too far away and buses seldom stop there. I would recommend removing it from the web site and not suggest anyone stay there. Worst hotel we have ever stayed at anywhere and very overpriced.

The room was very comfortable and the shower was very good.

No internet access in the room.

I needed a room on the ground floor and they gave a room with only thin lace curtains & a strong smoke smell & it could not receive the "free" wifi signal at all. At night with the lights on, anyone could look into the room & see everything so there was zero privacy.

Excellent location, friendly staff, free car parking (although you have to leave the keys at reception in case they need to re-arrange the parking order). Breakfast was ok - 8 Euros is a bit steep but Nice as a whole is massively over-priced. Room was basic and a bit run down but the location makes up for this. If you want to go to Nice, don't mind a (very pleasant) walk in to town, and don't want to get ripped off at the big hotels, then this is ok. You get what you pay for.

Traffic noise is terrible, particularly as the room windows didn't fit too well.

We stayed in a cute little bungalow type room at the end of the driveway. Very private and spacious room.

It was a bit of a walk to the main shopping strip. Not too bad though.

The location and the room with a view to the beach. Without the view it would not be a hotel I would choose.

The poor plumbing. Bathroom in need of refurbishment. Floor coverings old impossible to keep clean although the carpets were shampooed upon our arrival meant they were wet for 2 days. The bathroom vinyl was old impossible to clean because it had lifted from the floor like a corrugated iron roof. the beds were hard. The air conditioning was switched off and only the heating worked - not needed as yet. suggest installation of reverse cycle airconditioners. The biggest minus was no lift. I know they are expensive to install but..... At least a dumb-waiter devise for luggage would have helped.

We booked a sea view room, but got put in the basement in a very run down room with one window onto a service ally that was dirty.

The refrigerator was an advantage. Located around 20 minutes walk to the center of Nice. The beaches of promenade just across the street.

We lived in the basement. If you are taller than 1,6 meters the bath would be uncomfortable. The ceiling level is very low. Also the shower head was damaged and every person bathing made a water flow into the main room. The description of the hotel said that there is a wireless in the hotel, but it was available only in the reception.

Position on Promenade des Angleis the only positive thing!

All the rest is deplorable, our "ground floor" room is the former garrage I think, the window is faceing the garbage containers passage, all the rest under worst condition of mentenance. Good only if you spend a few night hours in tranzit.

Staff were very helpful, very quaint older hotel right across the street from the Mediterranean sea. Appreciated the little fridge.

Climbing the stairs - but they were wide and only two flights up. Room was very tiny, bathroom was a converted closet - cute, but the room met our needs - nice place to stay for overnight.

Hotel staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Internet service was excellent. View from our room to the sea was amazing, right across the Promenade.

No elevator. Carpets were dirty (entry way had not been swept in a very long time, and steps had mud chunks that were there for the entire three day stay) and bathroom smelled of urine. Towels were thin and stained. Bathroom fixtures appeared to have been installed by an amateur (they had poked holes in the wall behind the sink to allow turning of the knobs).

Great little hotel, pretty basic but it's right by the seaside and the staff were lovely.

Damp smelly room - Wall paper peeling off - dirty carpet - Shower basin leaking onto rest of postage stamp size bathroom - Rotten wood - filthy shower - cobwebs & dust everywhere - No safe - sagging bed - bedding not changed in 3 days- paper thin 10 yr old towels - room door which didn't fit properly
