I only stayed overnight in Lezignan-Corbieres.
I only stayed overnight in Lezignan-Corbieres. My apartment was basic and I was pleased to move on. However, I found a gourmet restaurant within a short walk, I ate some exceptional regional cuisine, I met a truly delightful family and I have probably made some very special friends from this short visit. I can't assess Lezignan-Corbieres as a town, having seen so little of it, and my choice of accommodation is not typical of the location. If I judge it on the basis of the people I met and the food I ate, it would be quite wonderful.

The whole town seems run down, especially the area near the church. We arrived early Saturday afternoon and found it impossible to get lunch (we ended up buying sandwiches from a boulangerie). Later on was even worse - we had an excellent meal at "Le Tournedos" (which is to be recommended) but after a walk round found no bars or cafes open - and that at only 9:45 on a Saturday evening!PeterUnited Kingdom

The pictures don’t really do the room justice, they had thought of everything and everything was of a really good quality right down to the beautifully fitted curtains with blackout curtains behind. It’s like staying in a really nice hotel room where extra care has been made to provide everything you might need, just at the top of someone’s house.
