Good quality hotel close to the beach. Rooms ok. Just a bit too far out from the centre of town. Quite a long walk and no public transport after 9pm. Taxis non existant.

The location is not very central and the window in my room didn't open, being on the sea side and breathing the air-conditioned air is not very nice

Room was up to date and clean and of reasonable size. Roof top pool and location were good. Restaurant and bar were way overpriced and very poor value for money. We ended up eating and drinking elsewhere.

The hotel was modern and very clean, the staff we dealt with were very helpful, friendly and courteous (all English-speaking). Our room had fabulous floor to ceiling windows with a lateral sea-view (I suspect we may have been upgraded, as had only booked a classic room). The bed (king- sized) was super comfortable, there was plenty of wardrobe/storage space for clothes/luggage, and the marble tiled bathroom was a decent size with full bathtub/shower, toilet and bidet. The rooftop pool and bar/restaurant with panoramic views was lovely, we dined there a couple of times and the food was lovely and reasonably priced. The location was also great, only one building from the promenade and beach. Although it is about a 15 minute walk to the town centre/old town, this was fine for us as we really preferred not to stay in the noisy, busy centre. The pool was a little cold and deep for me personally (being only 5ft1 and a poor swimmer), although my (6ft) husband thought it was great!! Also, the breakfast buffet seemed over-priced (21euro, I think) so we did not try it. It was a pity that the room windows were not openable, and in fact it appeared as if they were once sliding doors to a balcony, but I suppose this is the compromise to enable more rooms to have the lovely views.

Coffee making facility in the room.Comfortable beds and a quite location. Very clean, robes supplied and towels replenished frequently. Also five soft drinks supplied daily free of charge. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Food also very good. Bland decor (no colour/character), did not appeal to my taste. Pool area not very pretty (concrete flooring, no plants, no colour). Hotel looked more luxurious in internet photos than in reality. Bar/ lounge area and garden looked nice but was not open to guests which was a pity because this is often the place you get to meet other travellers. Would have liked a nice sitting room area as opposed to a bar.

it was booked for the location, near the promenade for the ironman race. the wi fi was terribly poor, continuosly disconnecting and the girl at the reception justified the accident with the fact that the hotel was full and many people was on line, which i consider it a bad reply, as though the wi fi was free, i anyway pay may room, and also if the service is free, it has to work, otherwise better to make a pay service.

The hotel is very basic and completely overpriced at 430 euro per night for a standard room for the Monaco weekend. Saturday night there was no hot water in my room. I asked to change room as we needed to go out but was told hotel is fully booked and the only room available was one on the first floor which would be too noisy. I asked to use that room just for a shower and the water was cold there too. Totally unacceptable given the rates they were charging with no willingness or a mention form the staff to offer suitable alternatives or courtesy given the inconvenience.

The location of this hotel is fantastic! The rooms are spacious, well appointed and modern. It's too bad the pool is only open from 9am-6pm, not great if you want to go out and see the sites each day. It would be nice if it were open a bit later (9pm). Be warned that although the windows look tinted, the people on the street can look directly into your hotel room.

Great location, great design, really comfortable hotel! 1 - Although the address of the hotel says it's on the Promenade, it is not, actually. And it's not facing the sea (they were not saying they are, but the address would make you think the opposite). 2- The maid tried to come in (and pushed the door really hard - luckily we had the "chain-lock" on) to make the cleaning without asking for permission or ringing the bell (we were still in the room, sleeping) on our check-out day (in the last day, I believe she is supposed to wait until we check out to prepare the room for the next costumer - afterall, it's not a regular cleaning... She is supposed to change sheets etc... right?) 3 - a bit expensive... 9€ for a glass of beer, 21€ for breakfast, 19€ for parking is a little bit too much, but ok, I can understand that... It's a pretty 'fancy' hotel...

The hotel has a nice garage. Hotel services are poor and expensive (restaurant, bar, breakfast, etc).Toiletries and bathroom ammenities are very poor quality for a 4 star hotel and offered in a very small amount - they do not replace daily even the soap that was the lowest quality as possible.

Rooms were nicely decorated, bed was excellent. Relaxed air about the whole hotel The whole staff seemed to be on the take, every request came with a tax or fee or levy. We got overcharged for breakfast (or it was €24 for a yoghurt...) and nothing was done about it. Most annoyingly the pool was out of action, no mention of that when I'd booked and no attempt to offer an alternative option from staff.

Excellent comfort in the bedroom. Staff at the reception and in the breakfast room helpful. Cleanliness of bedroom and bathroom very appreciated. The hotel was not found at 59 Promenade des Anglais as it is not there. In fact, it is completely out of the Promenade des Anglais, at the end of a street. So it is very unconvenient if you do not know the town and do not have a GPS, which is our case. The lifts did not work when we had our luggage packed and wanted to leave. The food ordered the first night in our bedroom was overcooked in the microwave and was as hard as a beach pebble. Not very nice after a long exhausting day.

The staff was very nice, helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. Free internet everywhere in the hotel. Five items in the minibar are free. Mini bar selection poor. The deluxe rooms with sea view have no differences with standard double rooms plus the windows do not open. Get a city view room.

Excellent location, hotel on the first line of the very polite staff at the reception, all speak English. Really liked the lobi bar. Unfortunately it was able to swim in the pool. There was a noisy water in the bathroom adjacent room.

location, sea view, friendly personel, proper room. the coctails in the bar, especially temptation 2! I would recommend this hotel to everybody. The swimming pool on the roof was not heated. Too bad cause the view is gorgeous. On the site they advertise with heated swimming pool. The door to the roof deck was not consequently open at 9 am. We had to call twice to the front desk at 10 am. The window in the room can not be opened, so no fresh air in the room. Still the climate in the room is good but I prefer some fresh air / wind in the room sometimes. the price for the garage is not included and cost 20 euro per day.

A spacious lobby with plenty of armchairs welcomes you. The hotel features a panoramic terrace with a swimming pool on the roof and a nice garden to relax. In 10 minutes you can walk along one of the streets getting to the center where you have a good choice of shops and restaurants. It is a few steps from the beach. Our room was spacious with a nice bathroom. According to the address of the hotel it seems to be on the Promenade des Anglais but it is located on a side street and not all rooms on the front side of the hotel have a good sea view. Unfortunately many have only a side sea view. Our room had some pieces of furniture (a narrow table, an uncomfortable plastic chair and some cheap plastic lamps) you don’t expect to find in a four stars hotel. The table, being too small, was uncomfortable even to use the laptop. I think they tried to cheaply renovate the room considering only the interior design but not the guests’ comfort. Room cleaning service was too early in the morning (9.30) if you consider they were half-holiday days.
