Four Points Sheraton/Elysee Palace

Hotelli vastasi kaikin tavoin sitä, mitä olin etukäteen lukenut ja mitä oletinkin hotellilta saavani. Suosittelen kaikille ja erinomaiset arvosanat kattotasanteen uima-altaalle, josta upeat näkymät ja jossa tarpeeksi paikkoja, kerrankin.

Uima-altaan aukioloaikaa voisi ja kannattaisi ehdottomasti aientaa. Eli allas voisi aueta vaikkapa aamuseitsemältä, niin olisi rauhassa aikaa vaikkapa vesijuosta tunti ennen muiden tuloa. Tämä muuten meidän koko 12 hengen matkaseurueemme mielipide.

Olin oikein yleisesti erittäin tyytyväinen hotelliin.

Ainoa asia, joka häiritsi, oli huoneen kokolattiamatto. Huoneilma ei sen takia ollut paras mahdollinen allergiselle.

Uima-allas/auringon-ottoterassi hyvä, joskin virvokkeiden osalta tosi kallis

1.The signage of the hotel is not displayed prominently to be seen from the main road Promenade Anglais. There should be an arrow showing it from the Promenade itself. 2. The room should be provided with porcelain cups and saucers ( plus metal tea spoons) and not paper cups for drinks for the price paid for the room.

I found the pool area excellant staff were very friendly but the hotel lacked atmosphere.

The hotel is credited with 4 star but I would have considered it a 3 star. Misrepresentation of Mini bar which was only water and Juice this should have been stated when on web site. Plastic cups in bedroom for coffee or tea not on in a supposedly 4 star hotel. No one used the bar and this had to be as the cost of drink was prohibitive so there was no atmosphere there at night.

The view from the rooftop restaurant and our waiter, Carlos, made our introduction to Nice very pleasant. Most of the reception staff were very helpful, with the exception of one female who had some issues with attitude.

In room WiFi was not strong and timed out to many frustrating times. The door to the very good bathroom was attached to an auto closing device and needed to be propped open to ventilate the steam and heat from the bathroom occassionally. In this position it blocked access to the room door to the hallway. No big deal but worth mentioning for the hotel's benifit.

The value for money is not ideal. The room rates should be about 20% lower.

The food range and quality, the staffs friendliness, the cocktail bar and garden

The hotel uses extremely cheap toilet paper. It is simply unacceptable for a four star hotel. I have seen better toilet paper in hostels.

Good location, fabulous views from pool terrace, lovely gardens, free beverages in room

very windy on roof terrace but could not be prevented

The staff were lovely, its a great location and has super facilities. A really lovely hotel.

Bedrooms were a bit smaller than expected

The staff were very polite and helpful, the bed was superb!! really comfortable and I thought the Hotel was a good location for beach front & approx 15/20 min walk from train station

The plastic chairs in the restaurant!! and the plastic tiny cups in the room with no English tea bags only Earl Grey
