Outstanding friendly service from the front desk who spoke excellent english and made our stay an absolute pleasure. The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the main train station and very easy to locate - perfect for weary travellers! Brekky was basic - but adequate. Some more fresh fruit would have been good. |

I thought the breakfast was good for a 2 star hotel. Tiny rooms and tiny lift. Also the neighbourhood was marginal. Fine for those on a budget and short stays and if wanting to be handy to the main stations. |

Francais is opposite of Gare du East where was my training center. There are good posibilities to use public transport to reach well known places in Paris. |

I had a good welcome from the friendly staff. The location is excellent if you want an early getaway on the TGV from Gare Est ( 2 minutewalk) or even Gare du Nord (...10 minute walk) |

Location was good,10 minutes walk from gare du Nord and across the road from Gare de l'est.We had a Triple Superior Room(third bed was fold away type but was ok)which was quite nice but smallish,not much room to move about.Bathroom was good size.Room was nice and clean. Bathroom had bath with shower at end of bath ,shower was hard to regulate and squirted water in all directions.Breakfast was an extra cost of 8-50euros per person.Other European hotels we stayed at all had breakfast included in room price. |

Staff was very friendly and helpful, hotel is directly at the gare de l'est. It is a 30-Minute trip to the inner city by foot (or you can take the metro). Our room was very quiet. |

The hotel staff were bi-lingual and were very helpful. The location was very close to the train stations and the underground. It had an elevator and extras like air conditioning, safe in the room and mini-bar. |

For Paris hotels, this was an excellent place. A room in the back is very quiet. Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. We will definitely stay here again. |

Simply great. I booked this hotel because of the location near train and metro stations and because of the reviews, which were very positive. I was not disappointed. My wife, daughter, and I fit comfortably in the room (most European rooms are small compared to US, as was this one, but still adequate). The bathroom was incredibly spacious, modern, and clean. The breakfast buffet was very good. The workers at the front desk were exceptionally helpful from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. They gave clear instruction for using the Metro and anything else we needed - in English. No complaints, only that we could not have stayed in Paris longer! |

Staff were very friendly. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of the Gare du Nord. The weather in Paris was very warm and therefore the air conditioning made sleeping very pleasant. Self service breakfast in a light and airy breakfasting room was also good value. This was our second stay at the hotel and we hope to go back. |
