great location with a swimming pool and nice gardens very friendly staff and nice breakfast at the covererd terrace facing the swimming pool
large amount of flies, but suppose this is normal due to the rural location we had reserved dinner for the first night and had received confirmation for this, but when we went to ask at what time they were expecting us for dinner, we were told that we were not enough and that they would not cook for 4 people. They advised us a restaurant nearby, but when we went to visit it was really not nice, more a bar for lorry drivers...So we went to look for a supermarket and were able to improvise dinner this way...
We were in a self-catering gite with two rooms including a kitchenette and 2 televisions.
Room very tired decor and needed a thorough clean. The outdoor kitchen was not kept tidy and clean, with food and dishes left out. Hence the abundance of flies. Pool looked inviting but was "green". During a 3 month trip in Europe this was without doubt the worst accommodation we encountered.
Close to motorway for trip to the South. Peaceful countryside setting. You need to like dogs as owners 3/4 dogs have free run and spent hours bringing us stones to throw them (we enjoyed their company, may not suit all). If you just want a comfy bed and a good rest stop this would be ideal. Gite style room so were able to cook own meal in the evening (No restaurant on site) and good supermarket 2 miles away. Comfortable huge beds with good quality bedding. Breakfast alfresco and quaint as served slowly by owners, simple fayre a croissant, jam and drink was pretty much it.
Accommodation totally not as pictures. We had a huge gite/rooms which unfortunately smelt very damp. Also they were very dated and shabby (without the chic). Pool was freezing and green. Not very inviting which was a shame after a 7 hour drive if had looked like the picture we would have all gone in. Even our two 13 year old water babies could not be tempted in.
Friendly welcome. Good (but basic) breakfast. Large rooms.
Somewhat difficult to find. Wi-Fi does not extend anywhere near the barn where some of the rooms are located.
It's in a beautiful setting with great facilities for the family: pool, boules, pool, playground and lots of space. Lots of friendly dogs for the children to play with too.
The facilities could have been given a little tlc: weeding and smartening up.
Very comfortable accommodation. Nice and friendly staff. Great value for money and would definitely return.
