Initial impressions could be improved. The sign on the main road has seen better days, and the entrance to the gites could be spruced up. However, once you see the accommodation, your mind is put to rest, and we had a lovely stay.We did not need to self cater, but while there is a fridge, sink, microwave and ample crockery and cooking equipment etc., in the loft gite we stayed in, there is only a 2 ring hob to cook on, which could be limiting.
We stayed one night in the loft of the converted barn. The rooms were quirky, with interesting furnishings and ornaments. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable, well appointed bathrooms. The gite is located in the most beautiful rural setting, with swimming pool available. We had breakfast in the outdoor kitchen area, most enjoyable. Paul (the owner) was hospitable( he speaks fluent English, too).
