The location of the hotel is very good. When we requested a change of room there was no problem. A good budget hotel. Some of the rooms were quite dark although we were fortunate to obtain a bright room to the front. The front of the hotel opens onto a shopping street and it can be a bit noisy.

The room is tiny. I used to it in Paris, but I thought in Bordeaux it would be more space for less price. It is not. The location is very good though, right in old town and not far from tourist information office.

It was right in the heart of old town and had very reasonable prices. The room, as you expect from many budget city hotels, was very small.

My room was comfortable and I had both a twin and single room because of availability. Both were fine. Although the hotel has an elevator, just beware there are some stairs to reach the lift and a flight if your room is on the fourth floor.

The fact we could walk everywhere from it or easily catch the tram. They were having problems connecting with WiFi and although they said it was only because we were on the 4th floor I tried the foyer and lounge and it was still impossible. The lift started on the first floor and only went to halfway between 2nd and 3rd floors. The bedside lights were connected. You could not turn them off individually.

You couldn't find any other hotel closer to the main attractions as this is. Every time I came back to the hotel, coming from different sides, I got surprised to realized how close it is from every place that really matters. If comfort is a must, you should not stay in this Hotel. It is really simple. It is just the place where you'll spend a night after long hours walking around. Anyway, if you are placed in room faced to the back side, just ask to change. We did it and the difference was astonishing. The front rooms are quite better. Breakfast is really simple and I would dare to say it is too expensive If I hadn't found out that there are not cheap breakfast in there. The average price is 7€. The alternative is to buy your breakfast at the near supermarket (there are a few around).

Location excellent, yes the rooms are small but let's face it how long are you in it? For an overnight stay in the middle of the city this is ideal. Free wifi also included. Nothing- as expected

The hotel is close to a tram stop and close to many of the sights and shops in central Bordeaux. My room was small but designed for a solo traveller. There was still room for a small desk and wardrobe area for hanging clothes. My windows opened out onto a view of the street which was fantastic. There is no air-conditioning but I found the ceiling fan to be fine (it was about 25-26 degrees when I visited Bordeaux). Note there is no fridge or safe. Room was clean and quiet, and bed was comfortable. Free wifi worked well. 1) Bathroom is small (toilet squished between shower and the wall) 2) Tap in the sink sprayed everywhere even on low stream, which meant that I had to stand away from the basin so I didn't get wet. 3) Lift only starts on the 1st floor so you have to carry your suitcase up. In addition, the lift seems to stop BETWEEN levels. My room was on the 3rd floor, but the 3rd floor lift door opens halfway between 2nd and 3rd floor. This meant that I had to climb another flight of stairs. 4) Strict about checkin time. I arrived at 1.20pm, but I was not allowed to checkin until after 2.00pm.

The staff were great. And to be able to speak English after 35 hours of travel was great. Free wi-fi is key - this was really the icing on the cake for me to choose this hotel.

Location - really near the centre of town with many fine buildings. Parking can be a bit of a problem. The hotel is in a pedestrian area and quite a walk from underground car parks.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The location could not be faulted, so near to all shops and the cultural attractions. All the trams were close by. This was a 2 star budget hotel with no frills, but it was in the perfect location for everything

Very centrally located, and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. My room overlooked the street, so was quite noisy at night due to outside noise and passer-bys, despite the window being closed. No airconditioning, though ceiling fan was more than adequate.

The location is excellent, really close to the city center and a lot of stores and cafes in this area. It's very easy to get to the tramway station. The staff can speak fluent English and are super friendly and helpful. Although there is no air conditioning in the room the condition is still very satisfying for me as it was not hot at the time I traveled there. The wifi did not work on my first day there but worked on the next day. So I assume that the wifi is just very unstable, at least during the period I was there. It was a bit noisy outside but this is understandable regarding its location.

Fine location, staff were nice and friendly, price was good for a city centre hotel. Within walking distance of pretty well everything. The TV remote actually worked. Small and poorly lit room and passageways plus a tiny bathroom with a shower that was near useless and a bedroom window that looked at a wall. The entrance is on a busy shopping street which may not suit everyone. The place was tired and the rooms were basic but it was cheap for the location and I would put it as a middle to low 2*.
