The lady at the reception desk, she was great, we loved it that she had tried repeatedly to contact a restaurant for us while we were out sight seeing and had managed to get us a reservation, then rang us to let us know it was all booked. The man behind the desk sent us on a bit of a random trip to a restaurant that didnt exist where he had circled on the map.

From the moment we arrived and throughout the visit, the entire staff (Christelle, Manu, Gulllaume, and our wonderful food server, Betty) were friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. The room was perfect, the bathroom more than large enough and the location was within 5 minutes of a metro. Also within a 5 minute stroll, we found SO many restaurants, bars and a market to satisfy our every need. The breakfast for 7 euros had WAY more food than we could find in any restaurant in the surrounding area. Whatever complaints I see here in the reviews did not come close to really describing a perfect place to stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who asks I don't know how the Parisians manage to cope with the inflated prices in Paris, but if I had one thing to declare that I didn't like was the inflated prices way past the point of value.

Very good value for the money!! Would recommend this hotel and the staff was excellent!! The only down side was construction going on near by which was noisy in the mornings however that had nothing to do with the actual hotel

I liked the fact that the hotel was opposite an attractive garden square in a residential, rather than a touristy area. But it was still very central. Also an old building, full of character. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was nothing I didn't like.

Location was close to a metro station and quiet. Price was very fair. Bed bugs. Room was changed and breakfast was free the next two days. I would have preferred our room be comped for the night.

Clean, pretty, efficient room in a great part of Paris. Excellent bathroom, and nice balcony, window. Staff was mostly friendly and helpful. I thought this was a great deal on very short notice for me. Nice breakfast offered. I was very happy. The mattress was a little lumpy/uneven. Could step up the luxury just a little - maybe staff could open the door for people, help with luggage, etc.

The cleanliness and the staff were very helpful. The room had a lovely balcony that would have been nice to sit on in the sun rather than the snow. Temperature control is individual per room. Nice shower The price of breakfast was a little expensive, and the room was a little small.

The location was quite good. Paris is already known for being a walking city and if you believe things are too far to walk, the metro bus a block away will drop you off at the steps of the Eiffel tower. The bathroom was one of the nicest ones that I have experiences in Europe so far and the food scene was diverse. I will stay here again on my next visit. The elevator is not very reliable.

This little boutique hotel exceeded our expectations on every level. The rooms are small as expeccted but incredibly efficient and well-appointe. The tall ceilings and small balconies over looking the park make it feel more open. The location was great, on a charming little park, which had the feeling of being in a neighborhood and allowed you to escape the hustle and bustle of Paris However, everything is easily accessibl with St. Ambrose metro sation within minutes. The location is between the Bastille and La Marais giving you access to both very easily. Great cafe's within a 5-10 minute walk in eery direction. The staff was friendly and helpful with every request, completely erasing andy of my preconceptions about Parisians. All in all, a great spot for our 5 year anniversary visit to Paris. Well worth the price, though I am sure it goes up during high-season. Nothing. We plan to try to stay here every time we return to Paris. I will also stay there on my own for business as well

Small cosy room, very well decorated and a very comfortable bed with excellent pillows. Very clean and warm, it was snowing outside ! Would definitely stay again. Nice quiet location but further out than expected and also the metro line nearby was not good for access into the centre of Paris. Breakfast as with most hotels is best avoided and therefore eat out.

The hotel was very near some great local restaurants(cheap & great cuisine)...the hotel recommended a great one with an English chef & Aussie waitress. It's very near the underground so town's easy to reach. Very friendly/lovely staff which helped with everything we asked! It was a little outta town BUT the subway was very near. They hadn't counted on the fact that it was a public holiday & didn't have enough food(bacon & eggs)for breakfast...but we forgive you!!
