Our corner hotel room overlooking the park was lovely; very clean (excellent cleaning staff, room tidied daily with fresh towels); while the immediate area is outside the tourist zone, it is easy to walk or take a bus into the Marais or other main areas; lovely park makes for a quiet stay
While the room was a comfortable size, the bathroom was a bit too small but overall the hotel is such a great value that we easily overlooked this
Balcony Near a park Helpful staff
Fire alarm going off each night Wifi hit & miss
Nice rooms, good beds, good Access with the bus and the Metro to Paris centre and Eiffel Tower
not so big rooms, but this is typical for Paris - so have your expectations right.
The greenery view and most friendly and helpful staffs making our stay feel most welcome. We even got upgraded to a suite ;) very happy.
Nothing at all .
The hotel is very close to metro St.Ambroise, bakeries, cafes, grocery shops. Our room was very big and comfortable. The price is reasonable for a Paris hotel.
Our room was No. 100 next to lobby and to a service room. Someone made a delivery and noisy unloading of water and stuffs at 5 am in the morning in front of our door.
Three different metro lines in walking distance, nice local bakery nearby and a local store. Nice bed and clean bathroom.
Wifi was rather unstable. sometimes great and sometimes not connecting.
We just needed a clean, safe and convenient place to crash at the end of two weeks in France and Gardette Park fit the bill. The adjacent park (a full square) is lovely and the neighborhood seems tidy and convenient, if a bit sleepy in August. It seemed a bit pricey for what we got but anything cheaper seem to come with on-line complaints about noise, filth, bedbugs. All told this is a good stopover rather than a destination. We would stay again but request a higher floor.
Our spot near the first-floor reception was noisy and people on the street smoked right outside our window. We should have asked for a higher floor. The night clerk kept the TV on loud which kept us awake for a while. He was nice about turning it down when we asked. Staff was generally courteous and helpful with restaurant recommendations and cabs.
The best receptionist service& welcome I ever got anywhere! room&bathroom very small but clean. room overlooking the courtyard was very quiet. Overall excellent value for money!
Lift only goes *between* floors (!) so would not recommend to anyone with poor mobility. industrial bread for breakfast is a shame when in Paris.
Lovely hotel, convenient to three metros, friendly staff
Room and bathroom very small
Location (10/15 mins walk to Marais) and near metro/bus network. Friendly helpful staff. Good interior design of rooms/bathrooms and comfortable beds. Park square setting. Parking for free immediately outside hotel (In August only). Option to bolt on breakfast at reasonable price.
Slightly wonky stairs but no big deal really. Couple more hooks wouldnt go amiss.
Very peaceful, clean, polite service, good neighborhood, simple but good breakfast, reasonable walking distance to various metro lines, small restaurants and bars in the vicinity and small markets too so you can buy water, fruits etc. for your daily expeditions. Beds were excellent! There is a small park with a playground across the very quiet street which is great if you travel with young kids.
Obviously, for the deal rate, you get a very small room and not the suites on the picture but this is expected so hardly a minus :-) About 30 minutes (walking + metro) from anything touristy. Further touristy stuff can be 40 minutes away. This is again hardly a minus to; worth knowing however.
Cleanliness inside the hotel
Stair & corridor
cute and chic
a little bit small
Location (fairly central and overlooking a lovely wee park), prices (reasonable for Paris), bedroom (comfy), modern and clean bathroom.
Nothing. Recommend this place.
Shambolic organisation. Locks on door failed to work after farcical attempts including screwdrivers and purchase of batteries. Supposedly upgraded to another room. Turned out to be smelly with a view of the hotel boiler. I am a very regular user of the superb Booking.com website. But this was beyond the pale. Checked out without staying and forfeited my 100 euros. Of which presumably Booking takes 20%. !!! It did feel like unfair treatment of one of your best customers.....Really sad because the staff were friendly....just hopeless. And I know one of your directors!!!!
Couldn't fault our stay here - excellent all round
- Polite staff - Around 5 minutes walk from the St Ambroise metro station. - Very good wifi connection
- Very small room (but this is common for Paris) - Quite limited breakfast, so it is not a good idea to include it.
The hotel room was so tidy and clean. The size was fairly big and there was a balcony too. Bathroom is nice and it includes all the necessary toiletries. Staff is nice and helpful too. 5-10mins walk to a metro station.
Just the elevator is a bit small but understandable.
Loved this little hotel, my room had a fabulous view of the park. Will definitely be returning soon to the same place.
Nice convenient location in a quiet neighbourhodd overlooking the park. Nice restaurants around close to metro and next to the excellent little theatre Aktéon, which is on the same street just a block down. The staff is adorable, the room recently renovated pretty and clean.
A bit pricy - I shared the room with a friend so it was acceptable - I don't believe I would have chosen it if I were alone. Dommage, because it would be perfect for me and my frequent visits
Nice calm area away from the hustle and bustle. Easy to get to the metro. Nice bars locally.
Nice and clean, friendly staff, nice decor
Had a small boutique hotel feel. Staff was very accomodating.
Good location near park, not faraway from metro station. Room has small but nice balcony.
Like very often in Paris - room was tiny.
