A feel of Paris right from the start. I enjoyed the hotel and will come back.
The toilet in the hall did not become a problem, so i would say I liked everything. The hotel is worth its price!
Very old hotel not equiped for modern ages. TV and Wifi not functioning properly
localization is great (in the middle of most of the tourist attractions), close to the restaurants & really helpful stuff there!
shared bathroom =/
Just the location
comfortable bed, hot water, clean sheets, excellent location with good shops and restaurants on doorstep (try the Chinese/thai/Vietnamese right out of hotel immediate right 80 metres, also excellent small artisan Boulangerie near the jewellers opposite (better than the one next door)
anyone with long legs would struggle to sit on the loo, shower basic and décor very tired-but you don't visit Paris to dwell in your hotel room. The guy in the reception in the evenings/night was helpful and his English OK. Would stay again for short trip but not the place to stay for a romantic weekend with partner!
Pretty good wifi signal. Great location. You could walk to attractions or metro very closely. For paris it was good value for the money. This is a very old hotel.
Toilet ran and shower slow to drain. Traffic noise outside but after all it is Paris.
almost nobody speaks English not clean old facilities
Family owned. Very nice and helpful. Older hotel. I wanted to experience the atmosphere.
Traffic was constant and loud. It was hot and they had no fans. Didn't sleep much. Noise level way down when window was closed.
Proximity to train station and cafés and restaurants. Beautiful Luxembourg Gardens around the corner. Near the Pantheon.
Very noisy road so didn't sleep too well.
Daily housekeeping was good, clean towels given daily
A bit dark in the rooms, not much good lighting
The location was key for our stay as we didn't want to wate time with the metro, we walked all week. A train station was nearby for transfers to and from airport. Luxembourg Park was lovely.
We had difficulty communicating with the staff which was a surprise given that we booked through major uk/us booking agency. It was a busy street so quite noisey in night. Bar and breakfast area was deserted and looked closed.
Location. Room size for 4 was good.
Insect bites when our children went under the beds. No refrigerator, microwave, tea/coffee making facilities or iron and ironing board. Noisy on the corner of two streets. Elderly staff speak only French.
Little worn. Staff kind but daytime staff not English-speaking.
Staff were very welcoming and coped well with my level of French. Right on 2 great bus routes and near to Luxemborg RER.
It's not a quiet road, so be prepared to have to have the window open in hot weather.
Close to buses and subway
There were street noises til 11:00pm
Perfect location to see the sights of Paris. Plenty of places to eat with a wide variety at your doorstep. Very affordable and still clean. The elevator is special. No curfew, open 24 hours
The bathroom had some missing tiles/bricks that lead into the wall itself.
Pleasant staff and great location in latin quarter
Very old and tired interior, needs to be refurbished.
The cheapest option for us to stay in the center of Paris. Normal quality for 78 euro per room.
No fridg. Wifi access was not valis the next day before 11 am with the same psw.
Location was great. I liked being close to the Luxembourg RER station, since that made it easy to get to the hotel from Charles de Gaulle airport, I liked being near the touristy busy-ness of the boulevard St. Michel, and the location made a pleasant 10-15 minute walk past the Panthéon to my meeting at Jussieu. The staff were friendly and responsive.
The walls were a bit thin, so I heard the conversations of the people in the next room. It's also a slight inconvenience to have the toilet in the corridor and not in the room (though that wouldn't keep me from staying again.)
internet no free breakfast
wifi didn't work, 1 sheet, no A\C that worked
Proximity to Notre Dame and L'Open Tour bus routes, plus RER station at Luxembourg Gardens. Plenty of places to eat in the vicinity.
On entering the 3bed room, you actually enter the bathroom/WC, so no one could go in and out without embarrassment, if another was in the bathroom! A typical old Parisian hotel!
This hotel is a good value. It is not fancy at all. It is very basic, clean, and simple. It is in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful even though I speak limited French. I liked it. I would stay there again.
It is on a fairly busy road.
location, wifi, hot water shower, window
toilette in hall, shower walls kinda dirty, mattress very stiff
