In the 9th district in central Paris, this colonial-style hotel is a 15-minute walk from the Opéra Garnier. It has a 24-hour front desk and guest rooms include satellite TV.

Next to the lively République Square and just 650 ft from the metro station, is this 2-star hotel. Paris Bruxelles has an oriental-style exterior and it offers soundproof rooms with an LCD TV.

Very clean Friendly helpful staff Location
Lack of choice at breakfast
We chose the hotel for its traditional Parisian facade, balconies and location in relation to Gare du Nord.
The room was poorly maintained. Both my mother and I got badly bitten by bed bugs during the night in two separate beds.
Unlimited free wi fi. Good location. Excellent value for the stay and the breakfast was only 6 euros. Front desk clerk helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE!
Summer time was hot and there was not even a fan in the room =(
The hotel is very close to the metro stop of Anvers, just a few minutes by walk to the sacre coeur. The room was cleaned every day and the staff was very nice. Although the room and the bathroom were small, there was everything necessary. Especially if you want to visit the city and use the hotel only to sleep.
Booked for 2 nights, 2nd night no sleep, we asked for quiet room but the noises from party next neighbour building were coming to the morning, also there was a commercial kitchen on the ground floor and smell of cooking was impossible to bare, their staff were also very noisy, bathroom tiny and smelly of leaking sewer, black moud on tile grout and silicon, juk!!! Material shower curtain instead of proper door sticking to the body during the taking shower!!! In July 2013 English couple complained about leaky sewer in room 6 and we stayed in July 2014 in room number 6 and it stinks and leaks. Cleaning staff pour chlorine and is burning the nostrils from the smell of chlorine for hours. Hotel needs upgrading and in a meantime should be used as a cheap hostel not a 2 star hotel. We talked to staff member about our experience on Sunday 20 July 2014 but he was extremely rude and did not care at all, how pathetic. Stay away from this hotel!!!
Rooms are very small but sufficiently clean. Not a nice atmosphere though. Too expensive for what they offer
staff are friendly, good!
wifi speed slowly
Simple and effective. No pretentiousness
Rooms a bit small but they all are in Paris.
Comfortable beds, good location.
Breakfast was not worth the money at all and the shower soaked the whole bathroom.
Good value for money, clean room which was serviced regularly, friendly staff, comfortable room
Wifi was highly unreliable and I had intermittent connection problems.
Kind staff, location and easy access to metro station M2 blue line
Very small room, elvator access is difficult with stairs before and after, very noisy
It was so Gentle personal working there ,always want to help us with booking bus to the airoplane ,giving us new toiletarticels if we wanted ,we could came home at night without trouble ,ringing on the bell ,handsome personal with style at the disk ,lots of restaurants round the corner ,very nice because it was only about hundred meters to the pharmacie, the tobakoshop ,the postterminal,a nice park för the children to play in ,shops near and a really calm quarter very near för taking a walk up to sacre coeur or the big avenue who had moulin rouge and the end ,taking a cab its not to expensive from the hotel ,about 15 euro ,so the hotel felt like coming a little bit home after all the sight- seeing ,a boulangerie at the hotellstreet ,a pizzahouse just between ,a nice Indian restaursng also and round the corner a very nice restaurang between the park " the Oiseaux" very kind englishspoken personal as they are in the hotel . The Aberness metro was also so near ,so the feeling of this Gerando Hotel ,was warm ,gentle, safe and cosy ,have the old feeling who gives you a good feeling in your heart when you think of the journey afterwards .
Staff was great and really helpfull.
location and price
We were looking to stay closer to railway station, so location was just 10 min walk. Safe area, cafes. Close to Monmatr. We didn't eat breakfast, bought food at supermarket nearby.Room is tiny, but as we stayed just two nights, it was ok. There are 4-5 rooms on each floor, everything is cross narrow corridor, I could hear neighbours.
The hotel is affordable, rooms are clean and not unpleasant, and it is located near Montmartre. The hotel concierge was accommodating and helpful.
The room was not a space where I would want to spend leisure time - it was fairly minimal. But this is to be expected for the price. It was a perfectly pleasant place to go to sleep and wake up.
Very noisy hotel, in the sense that you hear everything going on in the rooms around you. Also, the breakfast hours a little early and tight.
- good location: near to metro station, shops, pubs, etc
- no possibility to use the same wi fi code by two persons in the same moment
great location and communication, very clear, nice staff, very nice room no 37, thanks :)
They were helpful and flexible and kindly changed our room after requesting a street facing one. We were also able to leave our luggage whilst we walked around before catching th train home.
The rooms are small and don't look anywhere near as nice as the photos even though the room is exactly the same. Our beds were clean but my bed spread had a huge cigarette burn. Breakfast is extra. Should be included for that price.
very close to metro station Anvers
breakfast for 6EUR very very simple, 1 butter, 1 jam, 1koffe, 1 milk and 2 pastries :o) thats it! shabby but usable....
