Abbiamo soggiornato arrivando dall'Italia e ci è parso comodo all'uscita dell'autostrada. Abbiamo approfittato per visitare alcuni paesini nei dintorni (San Saturnino, Issoire, MontPeyroux) ad Issoire - da vedere la cattedrale-abbiamo cenato al ristorante Toquè, Michelin da 1 stella forse il filetto non era il top, ma il prezzo era + che ragionevole. La colazione dell'Hotel non l'abbiamo sperimentata anche perchè 12 €a testa per noi che al mattino usiamo cappuccino e croissant ci parere troppo. A san Saturnino con 4 € abbiamo fatto colazione

I chose the Hôtel Gergovie as I needed a stopover near Vulcania that was easy to access from the autoroute. It certainly fit the bill! You can't hear the traffic noise from the autoroute at all, but it is close. I don't know when it was built but it still seems new, or newly refurbished. The staff, especially in the restaurant were very polite and friendly, reception were very polite and helpful (they kindly kept my baggage for me) and the room was very clean, large and spacious enough to cope with the needs of one adult and 2 children and had a terrace you could sit on outside, although it was a little windy. The complimentary Algotherm products were lovely, especially the body cream. We enjoyed watching the rabbits out the rear window, in the early evening, too.

The GPS couldn't find the hotel, thankfully we had the instructions from Booking.com to get there. I think we had been put in a smoking room as it smelled a little, but not overpoweringly, of old smoke. The service in the restaurant was great, the food isn't quite there yet.

Didn't like anything about this hotel.

Typical soulless " side of the motorway " building. No atmosphere at all. Restaurant not open at weekends and nowhere nearby to eat. Breakfast expensive at €13 and didn't look very good so we gave it a miss and stopped down the road a bit. No chairs on the balcony to sit and look at the quite nice view.

Smart, comfortable and clean rooms. Quiet, but not far from motorway, and easy to find. Good parking arrangements

Reception could be more helpful. No lunch/dinner facilities at weekends, and immediate area not well served with alternatives.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Absolutely fantastic location for visiting the many Champagne houses. Room was furnished to a very high standard, bathroom was beautiful.. We used the pool on one afternoon, and even though this was in August, it was very quiet. The pool was immaculate and the gardens well kept. Highly recommended.

The location within an easy reach from the motorway. The politeness of the person at the Reception Desk upon arrival and departure. The cleanliness of the room. The accuracy of the bill and in providing the exact accomodation stated on confirmation.

very conveniently located in relation to our point of departure and destination. the trip would be too long to do it in one day, but the gergovie provides an ideal point to stay overnight and make the remaining distance very doable the next day. Room was very comfortable, shower/bathroom facilities impeccable Restaurant plus terrace have splendid view on the surrounding hills/mountains.

The menu should not be limited to a "menu du Jour". After a long trip there is nothing more gratifying than to be able to order a good entrecote!! Wine selection was good.

The restaurant is very expensive. There was no vegetarian option whatsoever (although they did offer me a vegetable plate for 22 euros!). Although the weather was incredibly nice, we couldn't sit on the terrasse, they didn't serve outside ...

Hotel conveniently just off motor way. Very modern clean room with a big comfy bed. The hotel has a very attractive terrace with lovely views of the hills. Just right for an evening glass of wine.

We were unaware that the hotel restaurant would be closed as we stayed on a Sunday evening.

Easy to find and close to the main routes south. Reception were very friendly and helpful. Hotel and Rooms were modern clean and of a good size. Restaurant was not open - due to Bank Holiday -but there were several options very near by. Great value!

It was mervellous stay very good food and friendly staff .One point less is the comfort of the seats in the lounge and bar are terrible when u have hip problems , also the baths are too high too step in these are the only complains I have

Perfect location when travelling -from North to South France - close to the motorway and very comfortable. Our room was excellent !

Connection wifi limite. Carte restaurant beaucoup trop limitée.

Hôtel moderne avec une jolie vue sur les collines. Chambre bien équipée (balcon, toilettes séparés, canal +) salle de bain design. Restaurent excellent.

Хорошее расположение. Чисто, комфортно, тихо и спокойно. С утра за окном наблюдали кроликов, которые никем не пуганные спокойно завтракали на поел рядом с отелем. Рядом, 5 минут на машине, есть комплекс ресторанов. Из развлечений есть парк Vulcania - весьма качественное развлечение (22 евро за человека за все). Очень понравился сам город, обязательно сходите в собор и покушайте на пешеходных улочках. Бесплатная, охраняемая, очень удобная парковка. Панорамный вид из ресторана.
