The staff was friendly and helpfull and spoke English with me. Very small shower, and towels like course grit sandpaper. Only 2 electrical outlets that I could find, one in the bathroom light fixture and the other high on the wall in a corner of the room, not user friendly. Internet was available but at the cost of 2 euros per hour. The lift in the hotel is as small as the shower, but at least they had one. |

It was in a district where we wanted to stay. It was in a quiet road. The bed linen and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was not included. There was insufficient lighting in the room. Apart from the beds and the bathroom (which were clean), the woodwork, walls and some furniture needed a good clean, redecoration or removal. |

Location and price! Although I had informed the hotel in advance that I would arrive early in the morning, around 7:00 am, I had to wait until 10:30 am to get a room. |

The place was conveniently situated but quiet. I just wanted somewhere to sleep and this was perfectly acceptable to the staff. They were helpful when I asked for help and friendly without overwhelming. It was a pleasant experience. |

good location and on a quiet street, plus close to Gare du Nord and Gare d'est staff not helpful: said they were unable to fix a burned-out light or the curtains that were falling down. Because the curtains couldn't close, it was always light in the morning from the sun coming straight in. The bathroom was tiny, the towels stiff, you have to ask for a hair dryer (it's not kept in the room), the plumbing from other rooms is very noisy, and the windows only stayed open when chairs were holding the windows back. |

Very clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff, excellent location (and very near beautiful canal, as advertised), and comfortable beds. Perfect for what it's described as being, a good value hotel in a good section of Paris. Nothing. Showers were small, but what do you expect from a 2-star hotel? I was nearly put off by some negative reviews of poor beds or small spaces, but my experience was fine and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the size of my room and felt the firmness of the mattress. |

It was in a fantastic location, right near two metros and the canal was just a few hundred metres away. There were also plenty of useful shops and nice restaurents in the area. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. |

The location is great - it's in the middle of "real" Paris, not a tourist area, and very easily accessible by the metro. Rooms are really small - in Paris they always are, but in this one maybe even a bit more than usually - and in urgent need of repairwork... |

This small and nice hotel in the center of the Paris is situated in 10 minutes walk from Gare du Nord and Gare du Est. Very close to a Metro station. I think this is a perfect choice for travellers. |

very good: Check-in from 13:00 to 24:00, Check-out up to 12; for Paris a calm and central location only some minutes from next metro station (Place de la République); room was for Paris and my needs ok. very small douch cabines: browsing the whole body needs - especially for bigger people - acrobatic skills; |

Location. Also, reception staff person when first arrived 24th Jan 09 at 9.30am. Very professional and welcoming. Reception person during checkout on 26th Jan 09 at 10am. Unprofessional, rude and defensive. The wood in bed head -not attached to bed- was making funny crack noises during the night, made falling asleep a hard task. Late checkout is chargable at 35 euros. Breakfast is poor for 8 euros and I found a place down the road that serves a similar -formule- for 3.60 euros. |

In a typical Parisian building just 5 minutes away from the Gare du Nord and Eurostar, the Hôtel de Londres offers modern accommodation, free Wi-Fi and a generous breakfast buffet. |
Conveniently located for Gare du Nord (Eurostar and Thalys) and Gare de lEst, the hotel features 50 bright and comfortable guestrooms, 41 of which have been recently renovated. |
A few minutes away from Place de la République, Gare de l'Est, Gare du Nord and the famous Grands Boulevards, the Bel Oranger Republique is wonderfully situated in Paris. |
The Grand Hotel de Paris, very well situated, next to railways stations (North - Eurostar station - and East), will welcome you for a nice stay. |
