Well located next to the city center, railway station and sea. Easy to come and go to the airport by buss no.98. Breakfast is ok. Wellness center is not really good. Just a couple of work out machines and all of them are broken. Swimming pool on roof is small, but ok. Window in our room was broken and we could not close it - all the noise from streets came in... |

Great familiyroom, clean and tidy. Roomservice, and food&drinks on the roof. Great for kids (and adults) with a swimming pool on the roof ! A bit expensive, but for a family of four it wasn't that much more expensive because we would have to have two double rooms in other hotels. |

The facilities on the rooftop, including the pool and lounging area, were excellent. We slept four people in an ambassador suite which was very comfortable and spacious. |

We had the presidential suite which very comfortably held 6 people. They also called before hand to see how to setup the beds. Great showers! |

Everyone was pleasant and patient. I liked that because my daughter has brain damage and epilepsy. The service staff would return to clean the room if my daughter was sleeping. She also spilled lots of water in the bathroom and this was dealt with sympathetically |

The location was perfect - close to beach but not so close that the price was really high. Close to restaurants and airport too. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Beds really comfy, bathroom clean and modern. Good to have a small kitchen too. The only thing we did not like about this hotel was that the room smelt really bad from cigarette smoke or something stale and rank. After opening the windows and airing it out it was better but still not great. I do not know if they have non-smoking rooms but next time I would definitely enquire about that. |

We loved being able to walk to the Promenade and the old village and to the old port and the Chateau du Colline and after all that walking, to return to the roof top pool deck and enjoy a cocktail in the evening sun. Switched to 2 suites for convenience of 2 bathrooms. Parking is very tricky but that probably applies to anywhere in Nice. |

The location and cleaniness were good. Also the staff was helpful and friendly. The stovetop in our kitchenett did not work. The door handle fell off of the bedroom door. The maids came and cleaned our room on several occasions when we were out even though we put the "do not disturb" sign on the door. The gym is not a "gym" there is one pathetic exercise bike and a fold-up "very small" walk-mill. Also their private beach is not as it is perceived. You have to pay to use it and they give you a discount voucher for 1 euro off of the already pricey 15 euro to use 1 sun chair. Personally I feel the hotel is over priced and feel it is more like a 3 star than a 4 star. |

Great = location in Nice, very close to the Promenade and the city centre. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom, helpful and friendly staff. Not so great = can be noisy if like us you do not use air con and leave the windows open, small kitchen not equipped with even the absolute bare minimum: dishcloth, washing liquid, drying cloth and some salt and pepper takes away most of the interest of having a kitchen. At the sort of level/price the hotel operates, we were expecting it. Did not stop us to have a great time though |

Hotel is within walking distance to train station, beach, and old town. Room is spacious and clean. We got a free upgrade to Consul suite because it was my birthday. Breakfast is expensive so we did not eat there. With the kitchen, we can store and reheat our leftovers for breakfast. Bathroom is very roomy with seperate room for toilet. I am very glad I selected Goldstar Reosrt for our stay in Nice. I will recommend it to my friends when they visit Nice. |

The location was excellent and the suite itself was impressive. The car park was very expensive and very difficult to negotiate unless you had a smart car. The facilities in the kitchenette were woeful. |

In the first room the a/c did not work and the staff was inexperienced. The drapes were obviously hung upside down. The price was way out of line for the quality of the room. The next room which was 900 euros. There were no waste baskets. The cups and plates were dirty. The couch was broken. not a good experience. |
