Goldstar Resort & Suites    

This was an ideal place for me. I there for a week and it was fantastic- a well equipped kitchen, a very compfortable living area and a separate bedroom. The location was perfect with plenty of restaurants or markets to buy my own food to cook. The staff were excellent, helpful and spoke excellent English A fantastic place in all regards-facilities,staff and location

Nothing except that as I on my own I didn't need the dishwasher and there was nothing to wash up with...oh dear!!! ( I bought a Vileda cloth)

World's smallest kitchen and not at all functional. Plenty of other space that could have been devoted to kitchen

Rooms were nicely proportioned and modern. Good shower and very clean. Had a small problem at check-in that was dealt with immediately and very much to my satisfaction.

Didn't get offered wi-fi but other than that nothing

The hotel is well situated for restaurants, shops and promenade, The room was well serviced with all amenities, lovely bath robes, towels, and bathing products, replenished daily. The rooftop terrace was very nice, pool lovely and warm.

The air conditioning was not switched on and the room got very warm at night. The shower and bath water was difficult to control, and at times was extremely hot, and the shower difficult to use.

Everything. Had a great time. Breakfast was expencive, but great. Rooms big, it was nearby everything. I would recomand shuttle from and to airport as well as to Monaco.

Mostly everything. We had a junior suite, Good space and very clean. Good breakfast, nice pool area. The pool was heated. Good location quite close to the beach,restaurants, Old Town, shopping and museums.

Elevators were very slow. The breakfast was between 6.30-10.30 wich was very good. But when we came around 10.00 our last day of our stay a lot of it were finished. There was no bread left nor omelette etc. When I asked the staff for bread. One of the girls just told me it was finished.Finally she said she could thaw bread and that I then would have to wait almost ten minutes. There was also a faint smell of mould in the bathroom. But on the whole the hotel was fantastic and we had a great stay.

Very helpful and happy staff. Nice quit hotel and very central .

Swimming pool did not work, nobody informed about it. Cold floor. Cleaning women did not bring shampoo, body gel...expensive parking

The second bed should be a proper bed as opposed to a sofa bed.

Myriam at the front desk is excellent. You cannot find people like her anywhere! She is always there to help for directions, restaurants, hotel needs, everything.And she follows up quickly with issues. Keith and Val Stuessi Excelsior, Minnesota

Staff were so helpfull and friendly. The small kitchen was just enough for breakfast and was spotlessly clean. The hotel was great for access to the Rail Station and the beach and could not fault it at all.

Roof top heated indoor pool, large room, 2 blocks to the seashore (in the middle), on major bus route, and near train station.

Missed wake up call at 3 am to catch flight (had my own alarm as backup), tried to charge me for minibar cokes which we did not use (and I did not agree to pay for).

Location / facilities

Concerned about security at this hotel ... Front of house poor - when checking out - told that I hadn't checked in yet??? Just handed key for room when told number (anyone could do this) ... Mistakes with deposit on booking / parking very expensive and completely impractical - if you drive a medium to large vehicle, it is incredibly tight.

Bathroom.Good helpful staff.

Room for 4 adults consisted of one proper double bed and sofa/portable bed.For the money I expected 2 proper beds.Car park difficult to enter and exit.

We had a suite, which was large and well appointed with a small kitchen that tucked nicely behind a pocket door. Kind of a Japanese flair. Breakfast was great, and the dinner we had there was wonderful as well! Great location--just a short stroll down to the promenade, and within walking distance to the train station.

4th time here the suites are very well appointed and a good size you get a good bedroom a large bathroom a big toilet with bidet a lounge and a kitchenette as well as a good sized hall. It is really good value for money

If you get a first floor room facing the main road you will hear them moving the bins around at 6am

Great facilities and excellent location. The suites are ideal for families with young children. We would stay there again when we travel to Nice.

Very good value for money. Decor dated but very clean and in great shape. Walking distance to the sea and shopping.

Decor could be updated, wifi was spotty and underground parking too tight to get our vehicle into.

Staff great, very clean, good location, great suite - and we were upgraded - nice pool.

Gym equipment broke during use and exercise bike didn't work.

We had one of the big 40sqm apartments. It was excellent for the size, design, layout and it was fully equipped with a small kitchen. Even had electric shutters on the bedroom windows.

The only negative was that the rooms were advertised as soundproof but our room was next to the elevator and there was a very loud noise each and every time the elevator was used which was often. We could also hear other guests in other rooms.
