Golf Hotel  

The views from this hotel are fantastic. If your room is facing the town centre, you are surrounded by beautiful mountains with the sun shining into your room. It's such an overwhelming feeling full of calmness and admiration... In the afternoon, there was a bowl of fruit outside the restaurant area for the guests to help themselves. There was also a useful simple explanation of what consitutes a 'portion' of fruit as per the '5 a day' concept.

If you use b&b, you have to fill in a form of what you would like for breakfast. If you are staying for a few days and want your breakfast to vary you need to change it at the reception the day before. Perhaps this is a standard way of serving breakfast in France, I am just used to buffet style which gives a little more choice and you can decide there and then what you would like to eat rather than plan it the day before.

Good location. Free bus to Gondola to Meribel or 5 minutes by foot. Family hotel in the village centre. Good price for ski-hotel, not very expensive. Park, food shop and spa near the hotel. For guests - breakfast, lunch and dinner in restaurant on first floor.

Beautifully maintained . No hastle . a fantastic relaxing vacation.

The facilities were up to date(everything was newer and in good shape), the views were excellent and the price was very fair.

The temperature of the room fluctuated more than I'd like. The ski room really could have used some sprucing, it was in an inconvenient place and was not great for storing everything, not good shelving, could use boot dryers bigger space, etc. Additionally the restaurant was just alright, the food looked better than it tasted and the preparation was not consistent between people nor correct. The breakfast was average at best.

Comfortable rooms, very friendly and conscious personal, very delicious dinner for 26 euro (better than wasting money in bars with their french fries and overcooked and burnt steaks).

It's not far from Olympie telecabina but it takes about 25 minutes to get to Meribel slopes.

the hotel was excellent and we will certainly go again. All Credit must go to the chef, the food far exceeded our expecations, any food lovers should book a stay here half board. Our room was comfortable and warm, we were skiing, and the spa downstairs was welcoming after a day in the mountains.

The reception staff were not brilliant, very friendly but poor english, so the information was very limited, even the basic things. I feel as a hotel receptionist languages are a must, part of the job expectations.

Very good value for the money in particular the three course dinner. We used it as the base for skiing. It is about 200 meters from the Olympic gondola and in the mornings we took a shuttle bus to the lift. We used the steam sauna and jacuzzi and it was not used by anyone else (good for us).

The Golf Hotel is in an excellent location for direct access via the local Gondola to Meribel and the Three Valleys ski area. The price at the hotel is a fraction of those similar hotels in Meribel yet this does not reflect in the quality which is excellent. The location is quiet so a peaceful nights sleep is guaranteed and noise from neighbouring rooms is minimal. The food is plentiful and excellent quality, especially the breakfast which is buffet style. The hot-tub is a welcome addition after a hard days skiing and the adjoining bar area is extremely relaxing and a great place to unwind. I have stayed at the Golf for two consecutive years now and I will deffinately be back next year!!

Great value, great location for catching the cable car up to ski in Meribel (Meribel centre only 30 mins away) much quieter and cheaper to eat in Brides les Bains

Son emplacement, une superbe vue, le plus un accès ascenseur Extérieur qui permet un accès au centre ville ! Le personnel est à l'écoute et très disponible, le restaurant est très bon... J'ai vraiment été sous le charme..,, J'ai déjà prévue un autre séjour dans cet hôtel en septembre.
