A 19th-century building a 2-minute walk from the Garden of Luxembourg, in the heart of the Latin Quarter, Elysa-Luxembourg has soundproof rooms decorated in a contemporary style.
Score from 721 reviews Very good
Great value for the price. Spacious room for a single person and it was very clean and bright.
I have seen the breakfast room and the food they have offered and would not recommend it for 10 euros. Wifi was also sometimes weak in the room.
Renovated building so everything is like new:)
One unpleasant waiter.
To room was small, but just refurbished and clean. Everything was working perfectly and the hotel was described properly at the booking site.
Nothing, everything was ok.
We stayed for two nights in Sweet Hotel and I must say that all the old negatives reviews don't apply to this new hotel. The room wasn't big, but for two nights it was just fine. The cleaning was good and the location fair (metro close by). It has some low budget food chains nearby, which is good if you want to save some money. The staff was really nice and helpful.
As reported in other reviews, they built a bathroom in every bedroom, which is nice, but left a "small" opened space (20cm high) between the door and the celleing, which may be uncomfortable if you do not have that kind of intimacy as a couple.
small room poor breakfast
Metro station very closed, receptionist very kind and ready to support guest. Some rooms are very small and some others have more space. In any case always confortable bed and very clean. More confortable rooms at high floors, low floors a bit noisy.
Wifi works very well in the lobby, with a lot of difficulities, even not at all ,in the rooms.
Décor of the (small) room - it was very clean and in good condition Staff were friendly and very helpful
Very small bathroom - was only really useable with the door open Lack of CCN/BBC on TV channels
Clean, small but stylish rooms with free wifi
elevator goes to half floors so may not be very accessible for some a bit noisy
The good thing about this place is its position
There are a lot of things! They don't change at all the towels..and even worse is that when you leave it to change they reuse it. The staff, all of them, except one gentle young lady were extremely unpolite. Not even looking at you at the moment of check in and check out; they simply carry on with their own business. There are thousands of hotels in Paris and I would always choose another one rather than this.
Clean room, stylish bathroom tiles
Tight spaces. Not recommended with heavy luggage, because the elevator stops at the half-turns of the staircase. A plasterboard wall with a sliding door and an opening at the top separates the bathroom from the room, so the bathroom is in common airspace with the room.
We paid almost 200€ per night. Not worthy for a room the size of a closet (definitely too small for 2 people), they don't even put a bottle of water in the room ( don't expect a kettle) Location is ok but not so centered, neighborhood residential. I will definitely never go back there. Staff is nice, it saved this uncomfortable stay. Overall, Feels like a big rip off.
Staff, all of them was very helpful & friendly
Very affordable, clean, and well-presented room with everything you would expect.
Modern, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Location perfect and not far from centre at all! Nice area!
Room smaller than on the website picture BUT having said that was just a place to sleep and so close to local cafes etc who wants to spend time in their room while in Paris anyway! Would have liked an iron!
The room was very clean. A quiet neighborhood. Friendly employees. The metro on a walking distance. A good shower.
The breakfast is basic. It's a tiny room, with a miniscule bed.
Reception is nice!
This was a great place to stay - clean, neat, small bathroom but refurbished, lovely helpful staff. Quite close to Metro. Helpful having a lift for most floors when travelling with lots of luggage.
There was no kettle to make tea or coffee. You have to pay for one downstairs, which is no good late at night :( If they had a kettle and cups, I would have rated my stay as excellent. Truly.
good location, close to Ⓜ line 8 very recently renovated very small but efficient use of space
wobbly wifi low quality mattress
nice a clean hotel with very friendly staff. good location, close to tube station and grocery store.
Room too small for 3 star standards, toilette in bedroom with no ventilation and isolation, no AC so I can only imagine how people stay here in summer time
The room was so small for a couple.the bathroom is opened to the bedroom
The hotel is in a great location. Quiet corner of Paris but with a metro station at the end of the street that had a direct line to opera, the Eiffel Tower and a one change line to both airports and a one change line to Disney. Don't be afraid to use the Metro was safe I travelled with a young child at night and never felt unsafe. Just like all big city's be sensible with your bags etc. The hotel is quiet petite the room was very small for 3 of us and when I used Booking.com I booked saying it was for 2 adults and 1 child. The web site stated there would be a small bed or cot placed in the room. I also sent a message via Booking.com checking this, but as always the big statement at the bottom of the page is that Booking.com can't be held responsible... When we arrived there was no extra bed. We asked for one to be put in and went out for the day. When we came back they had not done it because they couldn't fit it in the room and were fully booked so couldn't change rooms. We were told to all sleep in a small double bed. This was impossible as we told them but the receptionist was very helpful and friendly and found us a small folding mattress camp bed with extra sheets. Which my 6 year old thought was fantastic camping out. We had a 4 day stay great staff everyday friendly and helpful spoke great English and encouraged my appalling French. Locally a supermarket, a deli with great meals and breakfasts to go. And a really nice traditional French restaurant at the end of the street called Le Petite Tro with a great set menu full of very traditional French dishes.
We had an unexpected heat wave while in Paris and the room was hot with no air con. We had to sleep with the window open. The street was busy early in the morning and noisy. And no safe in the room.
So small room!
Loved the city, most beautiful place, hotel was just what we needed, fresh bed, excellent shower facilities & ready for the next day
Very new, and clean.
lift was too small and useless.
