Loved sitting by the fire and enjoying a glass of wine. Loved the helpful and friendly service from the staff.

Gradlon is an excellent hotel. After we checked in, the receptionist carried our bags upstairs and explained how the keys worked as well as all of the amenities offered. Not only was she very helpful and friendly in the beginning, but later in the afternoon she served us drinks in the "lounge," and went above and beyond to answer our every question. I loved the staff at the hotel, but the hotel room itself was even better. The room was very quaint and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was fantastic and very well equipped with a luxurious shower. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic time in Quimper, as the hotel is only a five minute walk from the city center.

Disappointing exterior facade needs upgrading and the hotel is surrounded by somewhat rundown buildings; we almost didn't check-in as it looked like we made a poor choice. However we were relieved to see the quality and cleanliness of the interior. Lack of secure parking can also be an issue as we had to park our rental car on the street.

The hotel owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded to a junior suite and was well equipped and very comfortable - the bed was one of the most comfortable we have experienced away from home. The whole hotel is attractive, cosy and well maintained. Breakfast in the courtyard area is plentiful and there is a good choice. There is a welcoming bar to relax in. The lovely centre of Quimper is only a few minutes walk away, with plenty of good restaurants and shops.There is plenty to see in the area and we would definitely stay there again.

There is limited garage parking and it can be difficult to park close by, but it didn't cause us any problems.

Brilliant location and a certain charm. Beautiful little courtyard to have a drink in and a cosy lounge area.

It was a bit of a pain having to ask to be escorted to the garage every time you wanted to get your car out. The very willing receptionist was a bit overwhelmed, they could do with more staff!

Service was good, staff were very helpful.Good location to tour the city

The hotel staff was exceptionally gracious and very helpful. They were most accommodating and went out of their way to make me feel very welcome at the hotel and in their lovely city.

All the staff were excellent. The Hotel was comfortable and well located for a visit to Quimper.

No Tea or Coffee facilities in the room. I was charged the outlandish price of €18.00 for one coffee and a pot of boiling water with two teabags on the side ( sorry I almost forgot they brought a second pot of boiling water but I had to use the same teabags). Breakfast was expensive and although you could have eggs cooked to order there was an extra charge of €3.00 per person for this. I was not aware of this extra charge untill I looked at my bill at checkout time. I would recommend this hotel but I feel that their hidden charges were not the way to please their guests. The owner did grudgingly agree to remove the egg charges from my bill and only charged €9.00 for the coffee and pot of boiling water + 2t bags.
