Gradlon    

The location of the hotel is good, about 5-10 mins walk from the cathedral and shopping area. The rooms a beautifully decorated (excellent showrooms) and the owners were extremely helpful. Breakfast was delightful and overall I enjoyed my stay.

My 80 year old mother did not find the bed comfortable - she thought that the springs had "gone" on one side. I found my bed to be very comfortable.

Management and staff was most helpful and considerate.

We had a big room and a big bathroom (for disabled people actually, although we are not disabled) . The room and the beds were big and comfortable but not quite so charming as we expected from the description of the hotel. The hotel staff was nice and helpful.

The hotel had a patio but they did not seem to take so good care of it.

We found Grandlon as a comfortable hotel with obliging staff , nice bedroom and lovely bed-clothes.

Our bedroom was near the road and that was a problem because there was not air conditioning and we had to open the window during the night due to the heat. The noise and the lights didn't let us rest.

The hotel and staff were great but, the parking was horrible.

It was listed as having parking but there are only 3 carspaces and the street parking nearby was inadequate.

Bedroom rather small. Exterior a few drunks hung outside the bus stop not a pretty sight for families walking towards the square.

Very friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. Pretty courtyard garden where you can have afternoon tea. Very quiet, almost tranquil feeling about the place. We really enjoyed our stay. Although the exterior is not very promising, once you get inside this is a lovely little hotel.

When we arrived we were unsure about the location (not on a very pretty street), but it turned out to be just 3 minutes walk from the main square of the town so was really good.

Excellent staff, very good breakfast

Our stay at the Gradlon was the high-point of our accommodatiosn during the two-weeks we vacationed in France. The room was spacious, well-appointed and beautifully kept. The concierge was very cordial and helpful. I would highly recommend the Gradlon to anyone travelling to Brittney.

2 euro charge for overnight cycle storage, the first time I have ever been charged for this facility in 15 years of cycle touring in France. Breakfast rather pricey.

This hotel is a peaceful oasis. The interiors of the public areas and guest rooms are elegant. The hotel's garden adds to the romantic atmosphere. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.They were all bilingual which was helpful. The rooms were beautifully decorated, but also had all the modern conveniences including excellent WiFi service.

The Gradlon does not have a Lift/Elevator, but the staff helped bring my suitcases to my room. This is a lovely hotel at a good price and the absence of a lift was a minor inconvenience.

Exceptionally pleasant staff. Great location and bathrooms. They upgraded our room. Breakfast was pricey, but there is a Tabac for coffee and Boulangerie right across the street. Parking can be a challenge.

Very friendly, spotlessly clean hotel. People happy to help with advice and any issues. Breakfast was well prepared and varied. I had superior room - fine decorations and the bathroom was excellent. Within a short walk of the city of Quimper it was accessible to buses to other towns and to the museums and cafes of Quimper. I would definitely return.

Beginning with a pleasant friendly efficient welcome, the short stay was exactly to our specifications. Location was ideal being about 3-4 minutes walk from the cathedral and the centre. Breakfast was extensive and served in pleasant surroundings.Our standard room was clean comfortable with a modern on suite shower room. Parking in their secure private garage is a good idea if you want to go on foot during the day. Would not hesitate to use this hotel when returning to Quimper.

The staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. It is a short walk from the cathedral and the town centre, but in a quiet road so there was no road noise. The parking was also useful.

We would have liked a hospitality tray in the room, but this was not a big problem as the staff were more than willing to make us teas and coffees.

Comfortable, well-presented room, beautiful en-suite bathroom. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and breakfast was top-notch. Only a couple of minutes' walk from the town centre.

There's no dedicated parking, though there are a couple of small (5-10 spaces) short stay parking areas right outside. I can imagine these would get snapped up during peak season, when parking may become more of an issue.

Loved sitting by the fire and enjoying a glass of wine. Loved the helpful and friendly service from the staff.

Gradlon is an excellent hotel. After we checked in, the receptionist carried our bags upstairs and explained how the keys worked as well as all of the amenities offered. Not only was she very helpful and friendly in the beginning, but later in the afternoon she served us drinks in the "lounge," and went above and beyond to answer our every question. I loved the staff at the hotel, but the hotel room itself was even better. The room was very quaint and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was fantastic and very well equipped with a luxurious shower. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic time in Quimper, as the hotel is only a five minute walk from the city center.

Il parcheggio: "privato su prenotazione" come indicato, consisteva in due box proprio stile abitazione pieni peraltro di masserizie appunto private. Se fossimo usciti la sera e rientrati tardi qualcuno ci avrebbe dovuto aprire la saracinesca e ci sembrava quantomeno grottesco oltre che scomodo. Ciò che ha influito sulla scelta del luogo della cena. Inoltre il servizio Wi-Fi previsto nel sito non era assolutamente funzionante.

Petit Hôtel très bien tenu, le personnel disponible et très serviable, très proche du quartier du vieux Quimper, petit déjeuner excellent.
