Clarion Hotel Aston Nice

Siisti hotelli hienolla paikalla, josta hyvät yhteydet. Henkilökunnan asenne oli hyvä laukunkantajista vastaanottohenkilökuntaan.

Aamiaisen ( joka sinänsä oli erinomainen) hinta on aika kohtuuton. Käyntimme aikana tehtiin sähköremonttia, josta oli pieni haitta, mutta henkilökunta hoiti tilanteen hienosti.

Aurinkoterassi liian pieni. Jos tulit ip:llä kaikki aurinkotuolit olivat varattuna

Loistavalla paikalla, toisella puolella alkoi ostoskadut ja toisella puolella vanhakaupunki hyvine ravintoloineen. Hieno auringonottoterassi hotellin katolla.

Huoneet aavistuksen pienet, mutta uudet ja siistit. Valitettavasti hotellissa ei ollut kuntosalia.

Sijainti aivan loistava; lähellä rantaa, vanhaa kaupunkia ja muita keskeisiä kävelykatuja. Upeat näkymät hotellihuoneen terassilta.

Olin kyseisessä hotellissa toistamiseen. Sijainti on hyvällä paikalla aivan vanhankaupungin kupeessa ostoskatujen läheisyydessä ja rannalle on vain noin 5 min kävelymatka. Hotellin henkilökunta on ystävällistä, huoneet siistejä ja ennenkaikkea sängyt aivan ylellisiä paksuine patjoineen ja äänieristys on niissä hyvä.

Ylihintainen. Olin ensin varannut normaalin huoneen, mutta siellä en olisi voinut yöpyä. Uusi huone (josta maksoin lisähinnan) näytti vasta remontoidulta ja vastasi odotuksiani. Henkilökunnan englanti välttävä.

Siivoja tuli aikaisin aamusta sisälle huoneeseen, myös päivänä jolloin olin lähdössä (silloin kahdesti), vaikka ovessa luki että ei saa häiritä. Ei ole koskaan käynyt minulle ennen.

The location is convenient to the old town of Nice which is the best part of town for tourists to explore and enjoy many fun shops and restaurants as well as traditional markets. Only 5 minutes from the beach as well with beautiful parks and public tramway right at the doorstep.

European hotels do not offer a simple inexpensive breakfast alternative. Not everyone wants a 25€ full meal. The 'continental breakfast' style needs to be offered - at reasonable prices - which would be good for the hotel and client.

I don't think this hotel should be rated as 4-star-hotel. The room was quite small, you can just walk around your bed, no more space! The decoration is very old, the bath basin was rusty. The bed was uncomfortable, deninitely needs to be renewed. The window allow traffic noise inside.

Location is perfect for shopping, beach and sightseeing. The pool area is pleasent.

The airconditioning didn't work in the room (and it was hot!) we asked for the beds to be made up as twins but this wasn't acted upon - I sense that the chambermaid had gone home.

The desk staff and management were very helpful. The hotel is situated close to everything - railway, shops, cafes, tram, bus, restaurants and the Old Town. The Airport bus (No 98, only 4 euros and much better than a taxi) stops every twenty minutes opposite the hotel. Location is perfect and only a short walk to Promenade des Anglais. The hotel should be recommended on location alone.

We had booked a 'classic' room but we did not like at all because it was in tatty though clean condition. I would advise to book a refurbished room at the outset. The staff did their best to please and we were offered another for an additional 25euros/day which was fine - the standard you would expect at a Travel Lodge though smaller.

That they changed my room to the one I booked

Yes they gave me a very bad room at the back ,and said that I booked ,a low cost room,wich I did not,after a few turse word we managed to change the room,

It is near det city and clean. It is a beautiful park autside and great for sunbath on the roof.

We didnt like the restaurant. The staff couldnt speak english well and got angry when people didnt understand the menu. Some people went without eating.

The classic rooms. We knew they needed refurbishing, but they were well past their best the 1st room we were given was really shabby , 2nd room better though dark and near the kitchens which got very noisy when staff were outside on a break & 5am was particularly noisy for about 30minutes not sure what was happening!
