Too much noise from the kitchen woke me up in the morning. Also I was disappointed to discover that the rooms are not actually inside the castle.

It's location, since I was in a "wine tour" - right in the middle of the vineyards of St. Emilion. Also the room, although a bit dark, it's on the very comfortable side. The approach of the staff - they did not care enough on what they were doing. Overall, I do not consider it as a value for money product, unless someone wants to stay in the vineyards of St Emilion.

Located between Libourne and St Emilion this beautiful Chateau Hotel is ideally situated for visiting the area and staying in premier accommodation. We have stayed here several times and are always made to feel welcome, the food is excellent and the staff are bilingual and friendly. Excellent !

It was a special experience and a wonderful place to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. The food and wine were both exquisite.Unfortunately we did not partake of any of the spa or relaxation offers as our time was limited and they were all quite expensive. The water was not hot enough in the shower or bath.

We stayed in a room in a chateaux with a fantastic view of vine yard. As the hotel is in the middle of vine yards, it is an ideal hotel hotel for chateaux visitors in St. Emilion. Hotel staff made appointments with some chateaux for me, which was really helpful. Restaurant was amazing, but a bit pricy. Worth having dinner with nice Chateaux wines. Room is very clean and tidy. They put delicious Macarons on the pillow when bed making, which is nice treat. Just stay there and enjoy your holiday in St. Emilion! They have around 10 rental bicycle in front of the hotel entrance. Hotel staff did't mention it when I borrowed it, but it was charged in the bill. If you borrow it, please be reminded it.

Beautiful facility. Housekeeping outstanding. Restaurant prices are incredibly high. 24E for breakfast is ridiculous. Concierge staff is cordial, but limited in helpfulness. Inadequate information re: spa is given at time of checkin. Recommend with reservation. If money is no object, the beauty of the property will make it worth it.

We were not able to have a table for the reataurant on 2nd day due to full booking. The hotel should keep tables for the hotel guests. We had to drive and go out for dinner which is not happy for us at all.

The rooms were comfortable and spacious with all the trimmings. The restaurant was very good and the staff very helpful and willing to please. We wish we had more time to extend. Massage was great. The location is great as it is a few km out of town and only a bike ride or solid walk away. Saint-Emillion is the most gorgeous place (small and tight) however we were very pleased to have booked out of town allowing a bit of space to move.

This hotel is 4 kms from the town in a park like setting on a vineyard. The food was great and we enjoyed biking to the village on the backroads through the vineyards. Our room was very spacious and clean. The airconditioning wasn't functioning properly, we were offered another room but settled with fans for the second night. A very pleasant and restful place to stay.

The best romm we stayed in on our trip with very attentive but not intrusive staff. Even down to phoning our home phone when we left an item which required returning to pick up on day of departure. Would return there very happily to spend time in and around St Emilion. No complimentary water in room, felt this was an omission in such a lovely hotel.
