Excellent location. The room was very big and comfortable. Free internet. I was told my breakfast was include. But when I checked out I was charged 19 euro per breakfast.

the room was very small and had stairs to the toliet for my 90 year old mother worried me <i did not think the pictures of the room very very accurate

Perfect location elegant hotel with historic feel

A stately old hotel in the grandest tradition. The rooms are a bit dated but not in a negative way.

No complaints, except no elevator and we had to carry our luggage up a long spiral staircase. Not a problem on check in since the bellman did the heavy work, but we checked out at 4 am and had to do it ourselves.

The internet service is appalling and keeps dropping so that you constantly have to put the password in. not good enough in 2013

A wonderful building enhanced by the superb interior decor, a real tribute to the designer who has done a great job. The staff were out of this world from the front desk to the bedroom and restaurant staff, all extremely professional with that all important smile, well done to Hotel de l'Opera

Toulouse is a magnificent city and will be even better when the massive public works are complete. Our visit was in late March and trying to find the way to the hotel was very difficult. We were in the city for two hours before we found the way to the Place de l'Opera, tiring but worth it in the end.

Everything was perfect no dislikes

Totally overated, the room was very simple, no good wifi service, staff useless.

It was very well located,everything on doorstep, easy to get around. Staff were amazingly freindly and smiled all the time and were very helpfull. I would definately stay again. some fantastic places to eat located very close by.

Loved the decor very french and the location for christmas shopping was fantastic. Felt spoilt but relaxed at the same time

Beautifully appointed rooms very quiet, with no street noise and almost silent air conditioning. Great location in the centre of town.

Couldnt find any tea/coffee making facilities. All UK hotels have these.

The staff were very friendly and the location was excellent. It is an interesting hotel with a lovely (if dated) bar, reception and breakfast room. The bed was comfortable.

The hotel is in need of a facelift. Everything looks old and worn and framed pictures are askew. We paid extra for more space and a sitting room but the sitting room was an enclosed, unheated room outside on the roof with no view other than HVAC equipment. And, one had to climb up over the window sill of the room to reach it. We might have been able to switch rooms but we were just too exhausted to try and too heavy scheduled to find the time. n The breakfast was not as good as that in the north of France in terms of fresh yogurts, breads or dairy products. The coffee was weak and in an urn.

I was very impressed with the hotel in terms of comfort, cleanliness,facilities,and location. I am surprised that this hotel has not received better ratings. it is an old,historic hotel and may need some room renovations,but it is absolutely lovely and extremely comfortable! Everything you expect in a true 4star.. Lovely lounges downstairs with international newspapers available, two good restaurants to choose from plus the numerous cafes and bistros on the Place du Capitole. my only complaint would be the ineffective women staff who were totally disinterested. oddly, the male staff seemed quite conscientious! the tradition room is a little small,but nevertheless comfortable.Price to value ratio is excellent.

room was not very big and no tea/coffee facilities in the room. separate shower not shower/bath would have been preferred.

I loved our room. The decor was great and we had a balcony, this was unexpected so a lovely surprise. Our room was also very quiet. The location was very central and the hotel staff very friendly.

The hotel brasserie was quiet expensive and the staff were not very friendly. My husband eats fish but not meat. The staff, although they spoke English were reluctant to help with some things that were on the menu that we did not understand.

the hotel is beautiful, retro decorated. we loved the red velvet room, very romantic!
