The price was good. The receptionist spoke good english and was very helpful. Our room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel is located 2 minutes from the metro so it is easy to get around town and to the main attractions. The front desk lets you leave your luggage for the day after you check out so you can go around town before you have to catch your flight. When we checked into our room our shower head was broken and we told the front desk and the next day we had a brand new shower head. We were impressed with their swiftness of getting this done. The area of town is not the best. It is located a few blocks from the Moulin Rouge which is pretty neat but at the same time in the evenings (after 10pm) there are some interesting people out. The area is fine but its not the best idea to be out and about in the late hours (The Receptionist of the hotel told us the same thing). The hotel charges you 2e per day for the wifi, 8e per person per day for the breakfast, and 3e per day for the safe in your room. They are stingy about shampoo they gave us 1 packet of shampoo per day and we had to go ask them for more everyday. Overall the hotel was good but next time we go to Paris we will stay in a different area.

The location is great for the business traveller. It is just a short walk from Gare de Nord or a couple of blocks from the Pigalle station in a good neighborhood. Easy staff to deal with. Rooms and breakfast adequate to my needs. Great shower.

The pictures don't show the reality of the hotel, that it's worst: old fornitures in the room, small bathroom (if you are sitting in the wc you have to be carefull at your knees that don't crash to the wall (and I'm a short woman...)and the shower has a plastic curtain. The lift has only space for one person with a small bag and during the night, all the people that taken the stairs seem to be in the room with you.

It was a good spot to be in location wise The room is extremely basic and beds third rate. The curtains were bought for the windows but did not actually cover the whole windows. The bathroom was like a 70's b&b in skegness. The last day there was a problem with the water shut off. No one told us why until we went to enquire and then they did not seem to care and sold us water to wash with.

Good location reasonabley priced, breakfast also good price. We stayed from saturday to tuesday at the end of march. The lift was out of order so on monday and tuesday morning there was guys working on it from 8 am and the walls where paper thin so every hammer hit could be heard. Also on monday morning the room next door was being decorated from 8am, at one stage a hole was drilled through our wall knocking plaster onto our bed while we where still in it. When we asked why we had not been informed about the lift before arrival they said it had only happened, however we seen a review online from before christmas saying exactly the same thing.

- Good location (close to subway and shops) - Reasonable price - Bakery, market and good restaurants on the corner - No carpet - The hotel hasn't a good sound insulation. Everything on the street you can hear in the rooms at the front of the hotel. Also a lot of noise from other (sometimes loud guests) in the lobby.

It's an average hotel, nothing special about it. Small room with bathroom. Near the metro station, safe to walk to at night. Value for money. Not so much a hotel for a romantic getaway as it is just a place to find a bed to sleep in after a long day of sightseeing.

I found the front desk staff to be extremely helpful and sweet. The room was the perfect size for one person (smallish, but nice) and the wifi worked very well. I stayed on the sixth floor and liked the view of all the rooftops of Paris. As a solo traveler I was concerned about my safety and I found that the area was perfectly fine, and felt very safe in the hotel as well. I wish the wifi was free rather than paying 2 euros a day. I also would have preferred a firmer matress on the bed.

Close to the center and metro station, quiet district (street). Paper walls and loud talks in the next room during all night didn't let to sleep. Old shower. Too expensive. Locked half of the cost on the card, then charged off the total price when checking out, and I'm still waiting for unlocking the first sum of money.

Easy to find and very clost to the metro, clean and basic accomidation. Pretty much smack bang in the middle of the red light district which they failed to mention in their advertising. It was fine for us but a group of girls would need to be more careful.

Good location. Close to Metro and grocery shop. Good TV in the room. Helpful and friendly staff who speak good English. Room was cleaned regularly. A very good impression in general. Breakfast is not included. Internet access is too dear (10 min for 3 euro). Tiny elevator.
