The air con was excellent as the weather was very hot and the man on the desk gave us information on restaurants in the area which proved extremely useful. the breakfast was very good. The room was very quiet. The television dropped off the wall while we were out having our meal! However a man came within 2 minutes and made it work again and offered us a different room. Very impressed with that. |

The hotel, while not in the center of Paris, is within 15 minutes of the center via the Metro. The staff is very good, the rooms are comfortable and well maintained and the bathrooms are roomy. Like most three star hotels in Paris, the rooms are not exceedingly large, but are fine for sleeping. The bed was comfortable. |

This is quite a basic hotel, but it was clean and comfortable, and being less than one minute walk to the closest Metro stop, it's in a very good location for accessing the rest of the city via the underground network. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. I'd certainly stay here again. Although free of charge, the wireless internet connection was very slow and quite unreliable. |

Open 24 hours a day. Pleasant, friendly staff. Our room was at the back and was very quiet. Biggest plus for us was the excellent bus service nearby to the Gare du Nord - you should flag that up! It took us longer to walk to the hotel from the Gare de Lyon than we thought - hadn't appreciated it was quite so far and uphill! |

The hotel is very clean and well appointed, staff are really good and helpful. Rooms are quite reasonably soundprooof despite the hotel being on a pretty busy road. Breakfast was very good. We wanted a hotel in Paris for one night as an overnight stay before a rail journey to the south of France. We chose the hotel because the description says "a stones throw from Gare de Lyon" but this is not true. It is by Daumesnil metro station, and is more than 2km by road. It took us 40 minutes to walk with luggage. |

It us always a pleasure to stay here. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The accomodations are basic but comfortable. The location is convenient to the metro, several good patisseries and the Bois de Vincennes. |

The hotel is opened 24 hours per day, breakfast is self service, friendly staff, vicinity of metro, supermarket and restaurants. Room is rather small but since we stayed in only during nights it wasn't problem at all. |

it is a good location , close to the metro station too , staff was great with a little minus for the girl serving the breakfast who kinda stole my morning entuthiasm more than once and another dude who refused to serve me for free the smallest cup of juice , truth being said not at breakfast time.but the bed is working and the personnel is prompt if u need them.ah they got wireless too surprised that there was no bathtub , but i guess that is not a big deal knowing the spec pb in paris. |

The staff were very friendly and tried to be as helpful as they could. The location was fantastic, we felt very safe, it was really close to a Metro station, there is a laundromat down the road, an internet cafe, and plenty of places to eat. The area seemed to be reasonably quiet compared to some other places in Paris. The breakfast was fulfulling and nice. |

Although the rooms are very small (Paris) everything in the room looks new they were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Good showers and nice LCD TV. I think its a good value for money. |

Clean, "family hotel". Close (a few meters) from subway station and bus station. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Slooooooow wireless internet, free of charge but almost impossible to use. Not so close from Paris Gare de Lyon train station, as told on website. Small room but even smaller elevator (written for 4 persons but good for 2...). |

The location, near to a subway station and other facilities. The clerk was very kind with us. Free internet access worked very well. Even small hotels like this should have a cart to carry the luggage from the taxi to the lobby of the hotel. |

We enjoy staying at the Grand Hotel Dore. It is less expensive than most hotels in Paris, but is definitely worthy of its 3-star rating, a step up from less comfortable 2-star hotels. The rooms (typically small but up to Paris standard for this kind of hotel) are comfortable and well sound-proofed. The wireless internet worked well. The neighborhood is very pleasant, with a metro right there. |

Clean, comfortable, quiet, lovely decor, terrific staff, good value It's a little removed from main sights of Paris, so if it's your first time in the city, you might want to stay closer to the center. For us, however, it's perfect. |
