The room was fine and clean, coffee&tea facilities available, 4 little bottles of water in the mini-bar for only 3 euros. 50 M. far from Metro, bus stop right in front the hotel with straight connection to Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord. The room was quite little

Attendance in lobby was helpful and sympathetic which is not always the case in Paris I would never stay as a tourist. To far from center areas. Rooms, elevator and everything are very tight and small size for people and suitcases. Small detail but very important is, nowadays, to have a small hand-lift to weight luggage before going to the airport so to avoid over-weight.

Staff unfailingly courteous and helpful - with metro close at hand a very convenient location - good local restaurants to choose from. We wanted to visit le Marais and it is well situated for that -- also le Bois de Vincennes. Very good value for money.

Very convenient location, about 20 minutes to the Eiffel Tower by Metro. Friendly staff, room clean and tidy and breakfast ( Continental) just right. Second time of staying there and will go again. Stayed in a room on second floor this time, and was just aware of the underground noise, now and again. But certainly nothing to worry about and it did not stop me getting a good night sleep!!

Location - Metro (Daumesnil) walking distance ( 3 mins) Location - within easy reach of Creteil University (reason for going - 30 mins by Metro) and Central Paris (30mins by Metro) Location - 40 mins by Metro to Opera and street exit to Roissybus(direct to CDG airport) Very friendly staff and excellent continental breakfast

The staff was amazing. They were always ready to help you. The rooms were small but clean and the air-conditioning worked perfectly. The location was good because it was 50m near to the metro station. I enjoyed staying at Grand Hotel Dore. And I should turn back again in my next trip.

This is my fourth stay at this hotel. I love it because it is clean, well managed, an excellent value for the price, well located right next to the Daumesnil metro stop on lines 6 and 8. Grand Hotel Dore is run by a family with much hotel management experience. The management is without fail helpful and friendly and welcoming. Grand Hotel Dore is a sister hotel to Le-Grand-Hotel-Français (on Blvd Voltaire), where I've also stayed many times with great satisfaction. Both hotels have recently upgraded their rooms and facilities, and of the two hotels, grand-hotel- français has become a bit higher-end. Of the two hotels Grand Hotel Dore is the better bargain; at Grand-Hotel-Français the room rates have become substantially more expensive there than at Grand Hotel Dore and than when I began staying there back in the late 1990s. I still love both hotels and enthusiastically recommend both of them.

Great value for money. Clean and Comfortable. Just outside the Metro gate. Good connections to the city. Friendly staff. Ample and tasty continental breakfast with a lot of croissants and danish pastries. A good place to sleep after long days exploring Paris. Lift too small. Sometimes noise from Metro. Only one plug point in the room. So you cannot charge both phone and camera simultaneously - which we used extensively during our stay.

Clean, modern rooms with excellent bathroom facilities. Excellent location - 50 m from a metro station. Free, excellent wifi throughout the hotel. The rooms are a bit small; however, that's pretty standard for Paris.

A lovely little hotel situated very close to one of the Metro startions. The staff were helpful and the room was clean and well presented. Above all else the hotel was quite and peacefull allowing us to get a full nights sleep every night of our stay.
