With its rooftop terrace offering views of the Circuit de Monaco, this hotel is set between the Mediterranean Sea and the Casino of Monte Carlo. It has a pool, restaurants and a spa.
Score from 636 reviews Excellent
Staff service excellent. Food excellent
Ability for people to reserve sun beds by the pool days in advance and never use them
Location, breakfast, room, toiletries
45 euros to iron a cotton dress. Very expensive hotel.
First class experience--impeccable on almost all dimensions.
We had some difficulty with the wi-fi in our room, which they eventually addressed (but it took some cajoling). The food was terrific, but entirely over-priced. I know you don't generally stay at places like this if you're price sensitive, but E70 for a pretty basic tuna nicoise salad--c'mon....
the welcome, the grounds thats about it!
,club dauphn closed due to weddings, restaurants closed due to weddings, why go there?? hotel response!! use room service or use the sea rock pool!! I do not think we will return, this is definately a corporate hotel! try Le Reserve they are like family and do not lie to you.
Exceptional, utterly flawless trip, this place made it what it was. The finest hotel I've been to, not just in France (where the service is often spiteful), but in the world.
Absolutely nothing. No I'm not an employee of this place. Yes, I will be returning, in a similar less unaffordable off-peak time next year. A true bargain for what you get!
Fantastic hotel, looking forward to next time we can go there. One of the best Hotels I have stayed at (and I have stayed at too many good hotels). Facilities, location and service was fantastic.
The food in the two star restaurant was amazing, however the food around the pool was mixed. Some very nice dishes and some more bland.
Excellent property! First class all the way. Beautiful view of the gardens and Med. Hard to find when the navigation system doesn't work.
everything, absolutely everything.
there was a minor leakage on the shower booth, but not much of a problem.
A first rate hotel that excels in everything it offers. However, it is the staff that makes this hotel a cut above the rest as they are friendly, efficient and very helpful. Without imposing they create a warm welcoming atmosphere as if you were a guest of their family, which is not something that is always guaranteed at hotels such as this.
Beautiful room but would be improved if the bathroom had a double sink. The shower pump made quite a noise audible inside the room but neither of these things diminished our experience.
Breakfast - too limited
Very attentive staff; great attention to detail; brilliant location (for Monaco); excellent (but expensive) Spa. I actually booked the Grans Hotel in error (meant to go to Hotel du Cap!) but it turned out to be a very fortunate error.
Location - staff - view -
Fantastic design, breath-taking location, top quality spa (had one of the best massages ever); extremely friendly, efficient and attentive staff.
Unreasonably high prices for food and drinks, including room service. Tiny example: 10 euros for a [very small] cup of latte. I do not consider myself either poor or stingy but this is a rip-off.
Gourmet Restaurant was closed
Everything was nice, beautiful see view, free wi-fi!
Very expensive all additional service!!! Car parking -45 €, breakfast -45€!
Beautiful gardens, super swimming pool super panoramic views and wonderful promenade along the coast.
Garage fee too much (45 E/day) The Pavlova dessert was too hard. and the sherbert was bland. Otherwise the dishes were very well prepared.
Friendliness of the staff & beautiful surroundings.
Some prices were, in our view, too high (eg €45- €50 parking charge per night.....at the end of October! Also huge mark up on wines.
the pool with its lovely gardens and splendid sights
the expensive breakfast
The iconic hotel lives to its status. Elegant.
Dinner at Le Cap restaurant was a big disappointment . It's easy to see how they lost their Michelin star! Horrible food outrageous prices. Save the pretentiousness and eat at the lower restaurant you ll get the same amazing view. I wish we did.
