Service, unpleasant staff not bothered to try speaking English, poor breakfast, dirty windows, value for money (overpriced), no WiFi in the rooms (or at least we did not managed to find out how to connect). A very strange smell in the whole hotel.

Large bed. We had 2 rooms, 1 with a view of the sea, the other -nothing

One staff member on the reception desk, could not speak 1 word of English, even though it was an international port, with lots of tourists visiting. I dont expect English spoken anywhere, but this is an exception. Instead of 2/1 dinner, breakfast could be offered as an alternative. Parents are elderly, but no doorman or security to assist with luggage.

The room was very clean and spotless after being cleaned each morning ,and it was loverly and warm during the cold spring nights , the rooms have all been re fitted to a high standard so dont be fooled by the casino entrance the hotel on the 3rd floor is loverly also the staff left us to do exactly what we wished to do but were always willing to help , very close to all the shops and loverly cafe's and many resturants and close to the spa and beech ,it was just what we wanted , I will use it again 100%

The hotel resturant is mostly closed in the week, this was not in its self a problem (loads of resturants near by) but it would be nice if a information sheet was in the room with the bar and resturant opening times , car parking can be difficult at peak times , but the car park opp is only €4 a day so its only a minor issue , other guest banging the doors late at night was annoying but that is not the fault of the hotel

It was right on the ocean. Walk to town a couple blocks away where everything is. Castle around the corner.

Parking lot fit about 8 cars only. Rooms very small. Wife and I hade a standard bed but my side was completely broken. Lady who checked us in was very nice. The different lady the next morning was unfriendly and didn't trust us at all. I was loading the car with our language and she got the security and watched me the whole time loading my car. Very smokey smelling everywhere.

Three rooms were booked but only two rooms had been reserved. However, I was upgraded free of charge to a superior room as the hotel acknowledged it was totally their fault. Hotel bar is only open at the weekends. Hotel restaurant was not open on the day we arrived (Tuesday).

Although I have been staying in Dieppe for the past 35 years, this was my first visit to Grand Hotel du Casino. Very impressed with the layout of the bedrooms which are exceptionally clean. As with all of the seafront hotels, this has a lovely view of the sea. The hotel is also well situated for Dieppe's town centre. Grand Hotel is now elevated to my second choice preferred place to stay in Dieppe.

No complaints at all.

Most of the Hotel was shut. The first floor tea room and main bar was never open. The main restaurant was closed for half the week. Only bar snacks where available from 8:00pm when the first floor games room was open. Absolutely no appology from anyone. I feel that I have been totally mis-lead.

sound proofing between rooms is minimal and if you have a noisey neighbour you will her every sound!

It was very central to all the shops/restaurants in Dieppe, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The only complaint was - no tea/coffee making facilities, (as all hotels and guest houses have in the uk.) We were very thirsty in the morning but had to wait for our tea and coffee until we had left the hotel! Another time we will bring our own kettle and teabags.

Standard rooms good value decor very (recent update) good comfortable beds modern bathroom.All round it was very enjoyable stay.Plus English was spoken.

Don't get fooled by the entrance, which is tired and being renovated. The room is great. Breakfast is very basic.

The fact that it was a casino and a not particularly up-market casinso at that was apparent and the presence of bouncers on the door, who appeared somewhat threatening rather than welcoming, was rather off-putting. The choice for breakfast was limited and overall the cost of our stay was high for what we received

No tea or coffee making facilities in room?

Car parking can be problem as the hotels only provide for a few.

It was very central, facing the sea and the promenade. Also newly decorated, very clean. Quiet.

Before I went I was worried about the noise from the Casino. None of the hotel rooms are above the Casino, so no noise!

Our reception was relaxed, helpful and friendly.The rooms were exceptionally clean, modern and very comfortable for a short stay. The breakfast was most enjoyable with ample to eat and a wide selection too.

There were two areas for improvement I feel however, as follows: 1. Parking in the hotel grounds was very limited so you should consider paying for the Pay and Display parking opposite. 2. We would have liked a kettle for tea and coffee in our room. However, overall, staying at your hotel was an enjoyable experience and I would certainly stay again.
