Location between the Eiffel Tour and Invalides was perfect. The hotel is a short walk from Invalides metro on a pedestrian street. Several restaurants, bakeries and cheese shops nearby. Clean, small, quiet, inexpensive (for Paris) in short the perfect place for 2-3 Star travelers to stay. Loved it!
Nothing - even their miniscule elevator was fun! The friendliness of the staff was unexpected and a definite plus!
Was in great location, enjoyed being on a small market street
Room was small for three people
VERY small room
location is the only positive
poky little rooms no lounge, not even a place to sit poorly staffed
The staff was excellent level of English, always available and very polite and helpful. The beds are comfortable. If you want to feel the true spirit of Paris , you should stay in hotel Leveque.Being in the hotel was very nice.Wifi had always.
A little bit noisy from street to 12 pm, but this gives the impression of a weary tourist.
Good service. walking distance to many of the sights. Lots of cafes and convenience store along the same street.
THE STAFF WAS SO HELPFUL, ESPECIALLY THE YOUNG MAN( I DIDN'T GET HIS NAME!) ON THE NIGHT SHIFT. CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT HIM!
The hotel was in a brilliant location, close to the Eiffel Tower as well as other attractions. The metro is a 2 minute walk away if you are looking to travel further and the street is full of cafes, small shops and a bakery. There is a lot of choice for food close to the hotel as the streets surrounding the hotel also house restaurants. We looked at the street view on Google which helped us recognize the street directions to other attractions. The hotel had very friendly staff who were happy to help. If you don't know whether or not to book breakfast, don't panic as they ask you when you check in if you would like to have it. We had breakfast from the bakery each morning anyway which was at the bottom of the street. The room was clean and had plenty of room. Our room had a shower and a toilet which had a hair dryer also and clean towels each day. We loved our trip and we would return to this hotel when we go again.
The wifi isn't very fast or strong but it is free and it was good enough for a short stay (plus, who needs wifi in Paris). There wasn't a view from our window, just a wall, however, it was quiet and private.
4th floor and only one escape route in case of fire.
The location, the closeness to the tower, the nearby neighbourhood, the pretty good breakfast
The tiny rooms, but I guess that is to be expected.. Half of them face the back which just faces another wall.. And the other ones face the street. I tried to move rooms but I didn't. Breakfast is okay.. But not very expansive.. Croissants, coffee, orange juice, canned fruit cocktail, hardboiled eggs, yogurt... Staff were mostly pleasant but could be nicer.
The location is good near by different Resturants The staff is very friendly
The room is quite small , the hotel is two stars , the hygiene was bad , the towels was not clean
Good in almost all aspects.
We heard a lot of noises from our room (doors, stairs and elevator).
The metro was easy available. Good restaurants by rue Cler.
The walls of the hotel are very thin, thatswhy we could'nt sleep well. The room is too small, and unfurnitured. Breakfest was not efficient every day it was the same.Elevator is too small. We have to pay on the first day.Our conclusion: it would be nice to get half of the price back.
Location was perfect - a walk to the effiel tower and the metro stop at the end of the street. So many restaurants and shops nearby also. Staff very friendly and lovely.
Walls are a little thin so if you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you. Both my husband and I are deep sleepers so it didn't bother us. It's not a problem in the dead of the night but you can hear pretty much everything during the rest of the time.
Lots of nice restaurants around and close to metro.
Location ... walking distance of river and Invalides and also metro station. The road was attractive with a variety of wine, cheese, shops and supermarket, cafes. A lot of life and activity.
Our first room was a standard twin at rear of hotel. Very cramped and dark. We upgraded to a superior room on front. Much more room and with view of road. Still fairly quiet. Lift was terribly small so that only one could get in if with luggage.
Staff is friendly, the hotel is close to everything. It is clean
Are rooms getting smaller as I am getting older? The layout was good, but I would call the room a closet. I also did not get the room I had requested.
They charged me on my credit card, even when they were not suppose to. I have never approved it, when I complain they showed me a signature that wasn´t mine. I wanted to pay cash and they didn’t let me.
Nothing at all about the hotel I really liked
1- very small tiny rooms and does not look like what the site shows 2- going to the bathroom is an agony because such door is ventilated towards the room directly which means all odors are in the room which is not hygienic and it's nasty and dirty 3-spiders I've seen which is scary and the kids we're afraid to stay in the hotel 3 - the elevator is so small which can not accommodate 2 people even and to check in or out with you luggage is very difficult to use such small elevator 4- poor Internet connection
Situated in a one of best areas of Paris, close to Eiffel tw. Nice staff
Very tiny room
Well located. Easy access to Eiffel tower, metro, restaurants etc.
It's less than all the photos on website. small room and bathroom, just basic equipment.
Personal belongings were stolen during my 9 day stay in the hotel. I had locked the room door before leaving, and returned at the end of the day to find out that the door was unlocked and left unclosed, after which I noticed that my camera was stolen. As I had verified that the door was locked before I left the hotel, and the key was left under the supervision of the front counter, the only possibility for the theft to have occurred was due to negligence by the housekeeping staff, in which the door was left propped opened/unlocked after housekeeping resulting in the theft. What disappointed me was the response from the staff following the incident: 1) Lack of ownership and customer service skills - The hotel did not appear interested in addressing my concerns despite me having my belongings stolen. Hotel staff merely stated that the manager was away and would only be back on Monday to address my concerns (3 days after the theft had occurred!). 2) Lack of sincerity in trying to resolve the issue - Hotel manager only offered free breakfast initially after i had put forward my case strongly to them. They only offered some form of compensation after I highlighted that I would make this case known to the Parisian tourism authorities. 3) Hotel was under-staffed and was unable to allocate any resources to accompany me to the police station (which is not an unreasonable request considering that the case dragged until midnight that day) 4) Rude and unsympathetic staff I would strongly suggest to booking.com to conduct your own internal review and assessment of the hotel's rating following my feedback.
Location was excellent, close to restaurants and the Eiffel Tower. Staff could speak English which helped with our lack of French. Bed was comfortable and a great shower.
Corridors could have had more lighting and an update wouldn't be a bad idea. No other complaints
Location was great, only 5 min stroll to the Eiffel Tower and close to other iconic sights. The hotel is situated in a little street bustling with restaurants, patisseries, fruit markets etc... You walk out the hotel straight into a Parisian neighborhood! Staff were great and helpful, the room was comfortable and air con and wifi both worked very well.
Very clean, easy access to metro and Eiffel Tower, many cafes and groceries around, friendly staff, great wi-fi connection. Would stay here again!
small bathroom, but well equipped
