This former convent is a 5 minute walk from the Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower. Now a 3-star hotel, it offers free Wi-Fi access and is just over a quarter mile from Ecole Militaire Metro Station....
Score from 575 reviews Good

Score from 980 reviews Very good
The location was great. So close to the Eiffel Tower and walking distance to a lot of tourist spots. Great spot if you are spending limited time in the room.
The walls were very thin. I could hear luggage zippers being zipped through the wall and the showers or toilet flushes are very loud as well.
Location, WiFi, Staff, and Bed Comfort.
Room View and Room Size.
Walking distance from many places. But parking for a car is difficult. Many good restaurants to choose from.
Parking for your car is problematic any very expensive
location , clean , free wifi , staff
rooms are very small, but it's normal in center of big capital like Paris, not clost to the metro, 5 mins walking
I loved the Central location of the hotel, the street outside is a bustling marketplace full of life and plenty of small restaurants, the staff make you feel welcome and don't have a bad word to say about the place
Excellent location walking distance from many attractions .
Very small rooms and too thin walls
they give me 2 unconfortuble twin bed, eventhough i was a solo traveler. Of course i would prefer a queen bad then i a twin bed. Plus, they gave room 29, which was extrealy dark and absolutely no view...
The hotel is located on lively Rue Cler which is full of markets selling a variety of good quality produce. It is very close to Eiffel tower and Napoleons tomb. There is a Metro very nearby and a big supermarket, Post Office and cafes and restaurants.
There is some noise early, as stalls are set out, but it didn't really cause us a problem.
Location of hotel,
Misleading Parking information on the website. instead of 27€ daily we ended up paying 36€..Not impressed, as far as the onsite parking was concerned, there wasn't any, you couldn't even park for more that a couple of minutes in front of the hotel. We were given room 14 on the 1st floor but what they failed to mention is that this room and the ajoining one share a ventillation shaft that sounded like a Jet taking off all through the night. To be fair once I told the manager about this we were given a room on the 4th Floor which was adequate as far as noise goes, if you ignored the fact that you could hear the mice walking about even though they wore slippers! I will not harp on but the Hotel is not worth the price they are charging regardless of how great the location is. If it wasn't for the friendliness of the staff I would have looked for another hotel..But eh they made an effort to smile and appear nice, probably becuase they knew the joke was on me for booking and paying to be ripped off :-)
Well situated, 1km from the Eiffel Tower. Rue Cler is a pretty street with brasseries and some nice (pricey) shops. The hotel is clean, comfortable with friendly, knowledgable and professional staff. A cosy atmosphere.
Location - walking distance to many major attractions Clean and comfortable
Small room for price but that's possibly the norm in Paris
The breakfasts were great and plentiful. Location was a huge plus, with a very friendly and helpful staff.
The housekeeping needed a bit more attention in that room wasn't vacuumed daily and we only were given one set of plastic bathroom cups for our whole stay.
Location is Great. Street is Nice with Great shops and restaurants. Personnel is Friendly.
Size of the rooms. Small elevator.
The location was excellent, The Staff was super. Breakfast was good.
Within a few steps of good restaurants and shops on the lovely Rue Cler which was all lit up for Christmas. Good metro connections close by. Best of all, it's only a five minute walk from the Eiffel Tower.
Rooms are quite small.
The staff were a bit weird
Bed wasnot comfortable. Door of bathing area was half removed.
Shower was poor Room was sparse No Fridge
The street is filled with locals delight, restaurants, supermarket, bakeries.
Right in the middle of the action on rue Cler. Close to many sights and the metro. Very easy to get to things in Paris. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Though the rooms are tiny and a bit cramped and the bathrooms don't give you much room to operate in, the location and price makes up for the size. You don't go to Paris to stay in your room!
The hotel was a good surprise. It's been recently reformed apparently. Good location, clean and it offers a luggage room so that you can visit the city before checking-in.
The staff - in the breakfast - were not prepared to serve the guests in English, at least the one we've encountered. The breakfast is too much simple. Just cheese, butter and breads, with juice and coffee of course.
Good location and metro close by. Rue Cler is good if your shopping for your dinner. Cafe's are pricey but hey it's Paris !!!
When water starts to flow for showers in the morning the pipes in the hotel shake and hiss like a steam train. It sounds like the hotel is being torn down. You can also hear people moving around in the ajoining rooms and in the corridor. It sound like they are trying to break into your room. It's like going to stay in your granny's house in Paris. Barely enough room in the lift for one.
Location. Located in the 7th arrondissement. Close to the Eiffel Tour and Invalides.
Room outdated. Did not sleep comfortably, the sheets made my skin itch all night (they must use low quality laundry detergent). There wasn't any hot water. To top it off, the woman who serves breakfast in the morning is rude and disrespectful.
- Location - Internet - Staff
- size of the rooms
I liked the cleanliness of the place and the location. Walking distance to most tourist spots. The staff was wonderful with the exception of 1 lady working at the front desk. The room was nice and clean.
The beds were decently comfortable but not actual double beds, rather two twins.
