Great location - walking distance to Eiffel and metro, street full of small markets and cafes/bistros.
Towels were threadbare, unable to eat breakfast even tho it was included (not enough seats for number of people in hotel), parking was 9euro more per day than we were told. Room so small we could barely move.
Location of the hotel is just amazing and the only plus of the hotel. You can be wherever in the center of Paris within few moments.
The walls were so thin that we could hear absolutely everything. And when I say everything, I mean everything! I had a big problem to fall asleep. The room was really small, even for small people. And the breakfast really did not worth the price. I chosed this hotel only because of its location. The rest was just disaster. You could stay in Grand Hyatt Hotel next to the White House in dc, which is even cheaper than this :d
The room was very nice & confortable.
When I arrived the elevator was broken and no one helped me out with my luggage. I couldn't believe that they were so unpolite and I had to carry my luggage to the last floor !!!
The location is great. Rue Cler is great. It is near to the metro, many attractions, and some great patisseries.
Room was very cramped. There wasn't much room to move in the triple room and the desk was made unusable. Also, "something" (I'm assuming a mouse) in the room ate into our bag of nuts and ate many of them. For the price of the hotel, this is simply unacceptable.
Room is tiny & old, but 100 eur a night though
Location is good
Cleanliness was a big issue, seeing flies flying over your bed before sleeping is not a good sight.
The room was clean and the bed reasonably comfortable. The area was good. The shops on the street were convienent.
Staff were not at all friendly. The bathroom was uncomfortably small and cramped, showering was difficult. We could not dress in the bathroom with the door closed. The double bed was pushed up against the wall on one side as the room was so small. The lift fits one person at a time. We were on the 5th floor but used the stairs. We booked a double room for 3 nights and were glad it was for no longer. The room we were given was not featured in the gallery photos and was not worth AUD $1000 for 3 nights. Better value can be found elsewhere in Paris.
Location is great
Rooms are small. Bedding was not the best.
The hotel was within a few blocks of most main attractions and had markets and restaurants right outside the lobby door.
At night the restaurant bars on the street below could become very noisy along with trash pickup trucks. The rooms were also small for three adults but efficient. Two adults per room would be a max, if I stayed here again.
Great part of Paris with a very good atmosphere in the street day and night.
Staff were not very friendly and short at times
The two gentlemen at the desk were very helpful. The lady at the desk seemed irritated that she had to help us. She has a bad habit of rolling her eyes at you when you ask for help.
They charge extra for VAT allthough was clear in booking form that is included. They act as thiefs. Poor breakfast. Loudy room.
Hotel was in walking distance of several major sites.
Decor inside hotel was a bit dated.
Helpful staff, good location really close to the subway station, within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower.
The elevator was really, really tiny. There wasn't enough space for a medium size suitcase and myself. I had to send my suitcase alone on the elevator and went by stairs.
Great location, clean comfortable rooms, pleasant staff
Location between the Eiffel Tour and Invalides was perfect. The hotel is a short walk from Invalides metro on a pedestrian street. Several restaurants, bakeries and cheese shops nearby. Clean, small, quiet, inexpensive (for Paris) in short the perfect place for 2-3 Star travelers to stay. Loved it!
Nothing - even their miniscule elevator was fun! The friendliness of the staff was unexpected and a definite plus!
Wonderful location, easy walk to seine, Eiffel Tower, bus and metro stops. The market atmosphere on the street was wonderful with many reasonable cafés and restaurants nearby. Rooms are plain but clean and quiet. Updated bathrooms. Staff were cheerful and helpful. Would stay again!
Skip breakfast at the hotel and go out to area cafés!
Was in great location, enjoyed being on a small market street
Room was small for three people
VERY small room
location is the only positive
poky little rooms no lounge, not even a place to sit poorly staffed
The staff was excellent level of English, always available and very polite and helpful. The beds are comfortable. If you want to feel the true spirit of Paris , you should stay in hotel Leveque.Being in the hotel was very nice.Wifi had always.
A little bit noisy from street to 12 pm, but this gives the impression of a weary tourist.
Good service. walking distance to many of the sights. Lots of cafes and convenience store along the same street.
THE STAFF WAS SO HELPFUL, ESPECIALLY THE YOUNG MAN( I DIDN'T GET HIS NAME!) ON THE NIGHT SHIFT. CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT HIM!
The hotel was in a brilliant location, close to the Eiffel Tower as well as other attractions. The metro is a 2 minute walk away if you are looking to travel further and the street is full of cafes, small shops and a bakery. There is a lot of choice for food close to the hotel as the streets surrounding the hotel also house restaurants. We looked at the street view on Google which helped us recognize the street directions to other attractions. The hotel had very friendly staff who were happy to help. If you don't know whether or not to book breakfast, don't panic as they ask you when you check in if you would like to have it. We had breakfast from the bakery each morning anyway which was at the bottom of the street. The room was clean and had plenty of room. Our room had a shower and a toilet which had a hair dryer also and clean towels each day. We loved our trip and we would return to this hotel when we go again.
The wifi isn't very fast or strong but it is free and it was good enough for a short stay (plus, who needs wifi in Paris). There wasn't a view from our window, just a wall, however, it was quiet and private.
4th floor and only one escape route in case of fire.
