Reception desk (Annie) was great. Room was quiet. Great old-fashioned atmosphere. Nice breakfast buffet.

Room small and hard to maneuver in with its furniture. Bathroom lighting at the sink was poor. (Light directly overhead throws facial features into shadow.)

More than I usually pay but worth it. Very pretty room and roomy by Paris standards. Nice closet with shelves to stash belongings. Great staff, especially Caroline at the front desk during the day and Fransqoise (spelling?) during the late evening. Superb location with lots of cafes just a few steps away, walking distance to most areas, and close Metro stations. Highly recommndend.

No alarm clock in the room, breakfast not a very good value. However the hotel provides a wakeup service and the breakfast might be good for those who want a lot of carbs in the morning.

The location was just right for what we wanted to see -- also close to metro and restaurants. The staff was superb -- they spoke English and were very helpful and friendly. Annie, especially, helped me connect to the Wifi and helped me print my boarding passes. Staff also provided me directions and arranged for a taxi to the airport. We would stay there again.

Great locatiopn but still quiet rooms

Please tell the receptionist that when new guests arrive at her desk while she is working on the computer she look up and greet them to acknowledge their presence, even if it's only to say please excuse me while I finish this. She should not ignore them, keep looking at her computer screen and let them stand there, ungreeted and unacknowledged as though they are of no importance. The initial bad impression it creates takes a long time to get over.

We have stayed in this hotel several times and have recommended it to friends. For location at a reasonable price it is hard to beat. We would hope to go back in the not too distant future.

Exactly what you should expect from a small hotel in this area. Room was compact but perfectly adequate & well presented. We personally liked the care taken with the decoration, you shouldn't be surprised if you look at the photos when booking. No view from the window ,but our room was at the back & also very quiet. We didn't have breakfast out of choice,there were too many other places to try nearby.

The staff is extremely competent and nice. Very professional. The location is excellent. The room has all you need for a short stay.

The person who decorated the room should re-examine his career choice. Red roses (huge and many) on the wallpaper and curtains. Pictures of roses on the wall. Roses carved in the furniture. Red covers and red carpet. I got a headache. There was a lot of dust in the room, but that was due to the textile padded walls. Nevertheless not for the dust allergic. The bathroom was in a pristine condition (and rose picture free).

Central location

The lift is too noisy staying at room 51. I would recommend the hotel to stop using the lift during night time

Location is great, with affordable restaurants all around and quick access to metro stations, cinemas and places of interest.

Staff was rather friendly but not over helpful. Shuttle services to the airport are offered through a third party company that places profitability before customer service as it took us 1.30 hour to get to Roissy CDG.
