Valerie is awesone! She was so helpful and accomodating. The location is ideal for going to the Basilica and the baths as well as walking to local eateries. Staff was helpful and friendly.
The hotel is is not well suited for technology. There was only one outlet...the one for the TV all other outlets were in the hall...not many people are willing to leave iPads and iPhones in the hall unattended. Wi-Fi access was spotty in the room.
Lourdes was a lovely place to visit very peaceful loved the grotto enjoyed it immensely .
Staff very helpful. Even arranging breakfast at 5am for the cyclists doing the Etdpe du Tour.
Warm welcome upon arrival and was surprised where the hotel was situated. It was less than a 5 minute walk to the Sanctuary. Ideal location as the shops and places to eat were close by also. A welcome drink is on offer and the room was comfortable & clean.
Location and staff And bedrooms
Lack of entertainment in the evening
Staff excellent very friendly and helpful Very convenient for the domain
Premises a bit tired Being asked to move hotel before we arrived fortunately they changed their minds and allowed our booking to stand.
Rooms small Location poor, too busy no space Wifi was slow and intermittent
Wifi really so poor & slow
The staff were nice and the location was great being so close to the sanctuary.
Hotel seemed a little tired,it was clean but bedrooms dull and looks like it needs updating a little.
Valerie the receptionist was the star. Most helpful and came out to assist with the bags. Spoke very good english and has a bubbly personality with all the guests.Public areas looked grand but during our stay the hotel was quiet so we did not try the restaurants. Matthew the GM is a friendly man who spoke to us.
Rooms very small and TV is located too high on the wall. Not that you watch much TV being predominately in french. Smells musty, probably due to the floods in June 2013.Good to see they were redoing the grounds to make the place more appealing.
Location was good & near to the grotto & restaurants.
Very poor wi-fi
Most of the whole Hotel Staff
A good comfortable hotel with all the basic facilities that we needed
The breakfast buffet needs to be revamped and given greater care and consideration
It's location, good food in the restaurant and friendly staff.
Although mentioned in booking.com that airport shuttle is available, there was none when we arrived at Tarbes/Lourdes airport. We had to share the last taxi leaving the deserted airport!
You can't beat the location, being able to see the shrine and the processions from your window. The reception desk personnel are superb. Very helpful, accommodating and fun and friendly
Forget the breakfast at the hotel. It is a nightmare. The wait staff are rude and angry every morning (I tried 2 mornings). They do not have adequate food. Both mornings the were completely out of things - like eggs, coffee cups, clean tables etc etc. The one time they brought eggs after we were already there for maybe a half hour, they were cold. Most unpleasant way to start the day. There surely are better breakfast places around town and certainly for the money. Breakfast here is expensive and most unpleasant
location was very good coz its near the shops, restaurants and the church as well. the room has a balcony and it has a good view.
i didn't like the room because it was quite old. the chair is not sturdy.
Excellent location. Great reception staff.
Bad management of facilities. One electric plug and one trash can per room. Breakfast confined into a tight room with bad circulation, restaurant staff unsupervised. unfriendly Bartender.
