Location, price and ambience. This is an old hotel so expect that. Compared to modern hotels it is somewhat Spartan, but retains the charm and elegance of it's period.

Easy to find, relatively inexpensive for one nights stay which was all we were looking for. Being in the mountains was lovely Despite being refurbished recently the hotel had a "basic" feel. We had few interactions with any staff; receptionist was polite and did all necessary but was not very warm.

The hotel is located near to lots of bars and restaurants which was convienent. The hotel room was comfortable and clean and quiet on a night, plus the garden was neat and tidy with enough loungers/chairs which were in good condition. There was only a short drive to the main hill walks and many actually started in Mont Dore so you didn't need to use the car.

We chose this hotel as we were travelling through the mountains on our way south. It very central right in the heart of Mont Dore and is in quite a grand building. It is rather dated and need of a lick of paint but it did the job. Mont Dore is a quaint little place and I imagine it is bustling in winter.

the location : in the center of Le mont dore. The garden, quiet and peaceful (some cushions would make it more comfortable). The Jacuzzy is pretty nice (but you have to pay extra and it's only availale a couple of hours a day). very poor staff, the receptionnist lady was unfriendly. old towels with holes ! the Sauna was nice but very small (for 2) and no cold shower for after.

The room was basic but clean and a good size, the bathroom was large and well equipped. The hotel is right in the centre of the town and with free parking. Nothing we would definitely stay again.

Calme et situation. Le WIFI n'est pas disponible dans les chambres, celui-ci est accessible au salon de l'hôtel, certes très confortable mais il est fermé vers 19 heures !!! D'autre part cet hôtel a été rénové, mais avec de petits moyens, salle de bain sans ventilation et la moisissure apparaît déjà autour de la fenêtre quant à l'électricité !!!!

Pas d'ascenseur, pas de bar, pas de restauration. Une chambre petite à la limite du sordide, qui n'avait rien à voir avec les photos proposées. La salle de bains est en emprise sur la surface de la chambre, totalement de guinguois, le carrelage vieillot, douteux, les tuyauteries apparentes, bruyantes, un éclairage en plastique, la douche avec un rideau en plastique aussi (horreur !). La décoration de ma chambre : table de nuit d'inspiration chinoise avec photo de Confucius inamovible, statue d'une déesse africaine sur l'armoire, tout en récup, où suis-je ?? La télé est petite, problémes de connexion non imputables à l'hotel, mais pourquoi placer la télé-commande à 1.90 m de haut ,,,,? Le lit est bon, il y a des oreillers, c'est propre, mais ce sera tout pour le coté positif. Le petit déjeuner est des plus basiques.

tres bien placé en ville avec parking privé.propreté.calme.l espace bien etre avec spa et sauna hyper agréable en fin de journée. acceuil correct disponible et pas envahissant.nous avons passé un sejour bien reposant. manque eventuellement un bar qui permettrait de profiter du beau salon avant de sortir diner en ville.

Idéalement placé, au centre ville avec tous commerces à proximité, navette pour les pistes, locations de matériels. Chambre décorée avec goût, très propre et agréable. Les activités sont un plus appréciable : jaccuzi, sauna, fauteuil relaxant et salle de sport. Personnel très accueillant et chaleureux. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir pour notre prochain séjour au Mont Dore.

L'aimabilité des patrons de l'hotel, leurs disponbilité. l'espace détente , sauna jaccuzzi. la chambre 24 un peu petite et la salle de bain aussi.

Un excellent accueil par les propriètaires, très disponible et serviable. Le confort de la chambre était très agréable, 4 adultes dans une chambre familiale, c'était parfait. la sonorisation des chambres
