The location was great-2mins from Gare du Nord
It was shabby and very basic. Lino floor in room. Shower and toilet separate but tiny. Expected at least a kettle in the room for the money!
The location was great; near the Gare du Norde metro stop; plenty of places to eat and drink. The reception desk said the hotel was full but we hardly heard a thing but we were on the fifth floor. Good value for money as it was so easy to get to the centre of Paris.
Hotel nothing like the internet pictures except for our room which had been refurbished in the last year or so. When we entered our room it was like stepping into another hotel - the foyer and stairs were very shabby but I don't want to be too hard on them as it looks like floor 3 or 4 was being refurbished though this was never mentioned by the staff. Sorry to say, Michael heard scratching in the night and thought it might be rats.
The location near train stat
Bed in my room was very poor/ danger caused broken leg. I didn't know how about bed in other room.
The staff were always very helpful.
You have to appreciate the hotel is in clearly a poor area of Paris, but is in a good location for connections to the metro, trains and even walking distance to things to do. To say the hotel rates are low for all of this there has to be some give and therefore the hotel facilities are very basic. Compared to the area in which the hotel is in the facilities i feel are better than most peoples houses who live around there, so put it in perspective. It could have been cleaner as there were some strange stains on the outer cover on the bed but the white sheets seemed clean. The hotel is in the middle of a city so it's bound to be noisy however it is very near a hospital so expect alot of sirens.
Counter staff were very unfriendly and curt. Once u left the cafe u are not allowed to return to continue breakfast or have a drink.
the elevator was small for one stroller and the room was pretty dirty and broke almost everything. The bed seemed like older than I am. And I heard everything from outside. The bathroom was horrible. It was the worst one ever had.
- Budget hotel - Newly renovate and still under renovation and room is nice - Near euro train and metro train - Friendly frontdesk staff
- small lift can fit 2 regular size people with no luggage. - Paid wifi - No water kettle, glass or drinks, refrigerator, iron - Must go ground floor to get hot water.
Balcony view Pizzeria across the road Monop' near by Close to the train station
The staff 2 street lights looking right into my room at night
It's very close to the Gare de Nord. It was clean.
The hotel is very old and hasn't been updated. It is located on a busy street so there is a lot of noise day and night.
Location and service were excellent. The dull hotel facet belies the modern interiors and bathroom fittings inside. Service staff at reception desk were friendly and helpful especially Md Kadir.
That WiFi or breakfast was not included in room rate
The bed was the only thing that was comfortable
Do not book a room especially on the 5th floor as refurbishments are ongoing. There was banging and hammering at 7 in the morning. The room was small and so was the restroom. Not recommended at all.
Best location, housekeeping was very friendly & kind, front desk was helpful (Yasin, in particular, showed us places we could go by bus, train, or foot, where to do laundry, where to eat), balcony view is beautiful.
You could easily hear when people talk or walk around, no locks on the bathroom doors, needs new paint (maybe a lighter color)
Close to station
Lift didnt work , staff rude and unfriendly , dirtiest room I have ever stayed in , mould in the bathroom , windows didnt shut properly on the 4th floor staying with children. Staff blanked us when we tried to complain . Awful place
It was not a safe place to be..
gd location as it is near Gare du Nord...RER to airport...but seems dangerous as the ppl hanging out around the area look dangerous...walking distance to Sacre Cour is a plus...
hotel looks gd...30 yrs ago maybe but now ethg seems old...but they change the bedding eday which is gd but my still get bed bugs bites...
Location was great, staff was friendly especially Yesin (spelling?), vending machine was affordable, view was beautiful from room.
No locks on the bathroom door, small space especially for 3 people in a room, need more snacks or vending machines for late night purchases.
Expensive hotel, No free wifi any where in this hotel, even in lobby of the hotel you have to pay for wifi.
Location and room size was good, we booked a quad room, which had 2 double beds and a single bed in two separate adjoining rooms. Staff was relatively helpful. Cleanliness was passable and facilities almost adequate although hotel in desperate need for updating and refurbishment,
Hotel needing updating and in need of refurbishment, the electric sockets needing to be looked at, out toilet seat needing to be changed, one leg of the single bed was wonky and coming away if not careful when lying on the bed. The windows need looking at in the aspects of safety when travelling with children - no safety features.
cleanliness and friendly staff large bathroom and close to trains, easy to find
Well it was hot and there isn't air conditioning, also there is a hostel next door that was somewhat noisy. If the windows could have been closed it would have been perfect.
L0cation--central,good for tourists, easy access to Eurostar station
The room is very dim.not much facilities available. The room I was staying, toilet flush was not working however the staff was excellent to do the repair immediately.
