Built in 1896, the Grand Hôtel Moderne is a fine example of early 20th-century French architecture. It benefits from a privileged location in Lourdes, 55 yards from the sanctuaries. We liked the location of the hotel. The hotel was very near the entrance to the Our Lady of Lourdes Basilica. Our room also had a balcony which the kids enjoyed.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful Overpriced. Croissant and coffee for 14 Euros? That was all we could find in the dinning facilities for breakfast. No one was there to assist us.

It was very close to the Church and the Grotto. It is excellently located if you are here for one night, and would like to celebrate the candlelight prayers at night, and the early morning masses at the Grotto. We were delighted we celebrated in both as the hotel was perfectly situated for this. The rooms were clean and staff helpful. Lots of big tour groups take over the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, so you may consider going somewhere else for a quiet dinner, although most food in Lourdes is touristy, of the quick and fast sort. This place is for prayer not cuisine.

This is the 15 times I am in lourdes, and have been staying in so many hotel, and I find, this is the best hotel I've stay in lourdes. Especially the location, it's so close to grotto, ( as I like to go in and out to Grotto and always go to the grotto at night, so I must find the hotel nearest to grotto) the room is so nice and clean, and the staff is so friendly, will definately recommend to my friend and will be my hotel for the next visit on september. And next,next time,when I come to lourdes again. Thank you.

The staff are very warm and friendly. I like the location best. It is so near to the Sanctuary and I would recommend this hotel to all my friends. The food is by far the best I have eaten in Lourdes and I have been to Lourdes perhaps six times. The bed and room is very very comfortable.

Location ... the basilica was down the street & there were many good restaurants around. The staff were eager to please, very pleasant and accommodating. Not a biggie, but couldn't shower without soaking the whale bathroom. Restaurant could do with a bit of an update (I thought it was too sedate & menu too limited)

Everything is perfect , we were happy, when we staying at this hotel, the room is quiet, clean and comfortable,all the staff are very nice and helpful.and the location is perfect, is just a step away from grotto. Si, me ha gustado su fachada, su interior, su decoración, su atmósfera art-deco, la amabilidad de su personal El restaurante y su forma de enfocarlo. Está pensado para dar menús a gente mayor, la carta es pobre y es caro, pero el personal es muy amable y el salon muy acogedor y bonito. Si quieres disfrutar de la gastronómía francesa, ese no es el sitio.

Es confortable y muy bonito, está junto al santuario de lourdes y en la .zonade restaurantes y compras, lo cual es muy importante En las habitaciones hay pocas conexiones a la red eléctrica, lo que dificulta la conexión de diferentes aparatos, sobre todo en las cuádruples, como nuestro caso, ya que somos 4 ala hora de conectar diferentes aparatos.

La ubicacion y el hotel por dentro y por fuera precioso. Esta justo a lado de La Vigen de Lourdes. Muy centrico El interior de la habitacion muy justito.. En los baños no estan muy bien equipados solo lo justito 2 pastillitas de jabon y el shampoo nada mas no encontraras el equipamiento a un 4 estrellas español. En la neverita de la habitacion no hay ni agua. La tv te la apan a las 12 de la noche. No hablan español y muy poquito ingles.
