Excellent location for visiting Aix-en-Provence on foot. Also the proximity to the old railway station was perfect (for trips to Marseilles and other parts of the Cote d'Azur). |

Short walk to the Cours Mirabeau, yet far enough away to be quiet. The rooms are also quiet and the airconditioning was good. Very comfortable beds. The rooms in this hotel are more like a 3 star hotel, although service and the restaurants are 4 star. I thought it was a little expensive for what you got. |

Efficient check in staff. Helpful staff. Dinner was nice but expensive. Good location for the main attractions. Not being informed beforehand of the 16 euro car parking fee |

good location to old-town center and railroad station. Hotel deserved 4-star rating, whereas previous Mercure in Marseilles absolutely did not. Staff at Roi Rene were very helpful and friendly, service was excellent. Value was good. We had one breakfast which was excellent. in-room internet charge was ridiculous when other hotels have free internet. |

Situated in the centre of the town, comfortable, calm . Would certainly recommend this hotel. Errors while serving breakfast in room: tea instead of coffee, cold milk instead of hot,etc.. |
