Although only classed a 3 star hotel, we had 5 star service. All the staff were friendly and helpful and if required also spoke good English. The location is brilliant for walking around the centre of Aix. The double glazing at the front works very well. |

Location was great. Right in the centre of Aix. The street cleaners began very early in the morning. Appreciated the effort to keep the city clean but the noise was something else |

It would help so much to know where the parking garage is as one cannot stop the car anywhere near to inquire. |

I loved the big room - so much larger than these box type new ones. The breakfast room was nice and bright too. It wasnt their fault but the street sweepers with little vans with brushes made an awful noise at 5 am outside the hotel. Apart from that I thought it was very good value and well situated. |

We enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent. It's right in the heart of the city. Having parking at the hotel was a definite plus. |

Great location was very convenient to the train station and major bus stop. Right on the main street in Aix-En-Provence. Room had great, tall ceilings, individual Air Conditioning and a refrigerator. |

The hotel is very central. On the doorstep of all the city attractions and walking distance from the bus terminal. Breakfast room and breakfast were the worst I have experienced in recent years, but there are plenty of cafe bars nearby. The fixtures, fitting & painting were in need of renovation. |

Location and that parking was available right at the Hotel. Size of the room (small) and general condition of the facilities looked worn and of need of some attention. |

It was very central to Aix, near the museum we wanted to visit, and also offered secure car parking. The reception staff were efficient and helpful and the breakfast good. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Rather shabby and in need of a make-over. |

quietness despite being situated on a busy road, direct access to city centre the hotel had no record of my reservation when I arrived! However, they booked me into another room and charged me a discounted rate for the inconvenience |

Cosy hotel, very centrally located. Old building, and some of the furnitures are 'collectors items'. Since the hotel is located in an old building, it needs better upkeeping, new rugs in the rooms etc. |

The location was fantastic- right in the centre of town with cafe's and bars just at your doorstep but not too noisy, although we did stay at the back of the hotel. The breakfast didn't look very good for 8 Euros and we opted to eat out during our stay. |

Location, location, location. Room was decent. Will recommend based on location alone, since Aix-en-Provence is such a lovely city, you wouldn't want to stay cooped up in your room. The staff tended to be rather impersonal. Hotel is due for some updating, perhaps to re-capture some of its lost grandeur. Breakfast looked like a sorry affair, so we did not try it. |

Great location on the Cours Mirabeau and public areas of the hotel were very attractive. We booked a parking space with the hotel, but when we arrived, the Cours Mirabeau was closed because of an event, so we had to pay for a public carpark then move the car later when the street was reopened - hotel staff didn't seem to realise why we might find this irritating, and given the planned nature of the event, they could have warned us when we booked the parking space...Our hotel room was perfectly comfortable but just rather shabby - view onto an enclosed roofspace so it was very dingy. Bathroom was ok, but panels from the shower cubicle were missing so it was effectively open into the bathroom! Price was good given others in the region and the location was perfect, but don't kid yourself into thinking it will be more than 'ok'! |

Staff at front desk were wonderful. They were able to help with all requests and questions (in English!). Great location on the main street of Aix. 90E rooms were very sparse and small but fair for the price. Our friends paid 130E and their room was great! |

The location of the hotel is ideal - right in the city centre. It has a garage which is perfect for those who may have lots of wine in the boot! |

The room (& hotel generally) was very clean and tidy, plumbing was good with readily available hot & cold water. All staff were friendly and willing to communicate, which is unusual. Location was superb for eating & bars and if was in the area on business again, I'd probably stay there. Air con was very noisy, so I didn't use it. Both room & hotel could probably do with refurbishment. The view was non-existent (the back of the surrounding buildings) but this had the benefit of allowing me to open the window and not be deafened by the noise from the street. |

The hotel is very well located and the staff was very nice on giving informations about the city. The room floor is very old and it makes a lot of noise when you step on it. |

The hotel is right on the Cours Mirabeau, which places you within walking distance of hundreds of restaurants, shops and nearly all of the significant historic sites of Aix. The hotel has little to no charm, which you would expect for a three star hotel . My room was large (actually too large for one person) and only sparsley furnished...no carpeting on the floors, poor bedside lighting, torn drapery. |
